Besides going to the raceway to see the lights, we also stopped, on the way to the raceway, to take some pictures of this victorian. They light this place up every year and it is, always, really beautiful.
The Marc Anna (website) will be hosting its grand opening this weekend, September 29th & 30th at 102 Galer Street on the top of Queen Anne.
Originally constructed in 1927, the Marc Anna features just 6 one-bedroom and one-bedroom + den condominium homes starting from the high $300,000s.
Though it may have had a controversial beginning with the demolition of a 1920 apartment building across the street from Kerry Park, 200 West Highland Condominium (website) will be a nice addition to Queen’s South Slope, that is, if you can afford it. Prices are expected to start from $1.2 million.
The 5-story steel and concrete building will include just 25 luxury homes with commanding views of downtown Seattle. The two- and three-bedroom homes will range in size between 1,521 and 2,877 square feet. Other features include:

The Luxe Condominium (website) located at 500 5th Avenue West on lower Queen Anne is the newest conversion project by Metropolitan Homes. Metropolitan recently developed the Plaza del Sol and Mezzo condo projects on Capitol Hill.
Luxe consists of only 39 one- and two-bedroom condominium homes including multi-level penthouses that surround a central atrium. The 7-story steel constructed building was originally built in 1967 and has been thoroughly updated including exterior siding, new larger windows, electrical and plumbing systems.
Perched on a hill overlooking Elliott Bay and downtown, 30 of the 39 units have water views with the upper-level West and South facing units encompassing sweeping Puget Sound and city views.
