Yet another delay and this time its the launch of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed as reported by Fudzilla.Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed for both Nintendo DS and PC, and the games are now set for launch on March 28th.As you may know, Assassin's Creed was previously scheduled to launch in February for the DS version and in March for the PC version, but now we have more than two more months to wait for this game. The previous statement also means that users have two more months to fulfill the Ubisoft's high PC requirements for Assassin's Creed.In addition to the Assassin's Creed delay, Ubisoft has also pushed the launch of Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Elements back one week, to 15th February. As you know doubt heard Tabula Rasa has been pushed back about two weeks (formerly pre-order date 10/16 and launch 10/19) to 10/30 pre-order start date and 11/2 official launch date. Scott Derrickson’s remake of classic sci-fi film The Day The Earth Stood Still has had a release date change. Originally set to release on May 9th, the film is now set to be released on 12th December 2008. The previous release date would see the film go head-to-head with Speed Racer.
It may seem like a smart business move to change release dates so the film wouldn’t be up against such a big movie but it wasn’t the reason the film got pushed back. The Day The Earth Stood Still hasn’t begun principal photography yet and was moved back purely because it couldn’t meet the Summer release deadline.
The remake is to be directed by Scott Derrickson from a script by David Scarpa. The original 1951 film by Robert Wise is considered to be one of the best Sci-Fi films of all time and was debated for it’s religious symbolism and many interpretations.

Matsushita Co, which manufactured the BL-5C batteries for Nokia, is now in the eye of a cellular storm.Japanese media reports indicate that Matushita knew about the defects in the batteries as early as four months ago, but did not disclose it.Nokia recalled the BL-5C lithium-ion batteries after it was discovered that they were overheating while being charged.According to reports, Matsushita discovered the problem after two incidents of batteries exploding in Japan alone.However they did not go public with this information. BROOKLYN, Mich. -- Persistent rain has forced NASCAR officials to push back the start of Monday's rain-delayed 3M Performance 400 at Michigan International Speedway. The noon ET scheduled start has been pushed back, according to a release issued by the speedway Monday morning. NASCAR and track officials will meet at 11:30 a.m. ET to discuss options and provide another update. The last Cup race to be postponed on consecutive days was the 1997 Winston 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Originally scheduled for Sunday, April 27, rain forced postponement until Monday. Then more showers forced NASCAR officials to reschedule the race for the following week, in order to allow teams to free up their haulers for a cross-country trip to Sonoma. A spokesperson from Sierra Entertainment has confirmed to us at X360R that The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena has been pushed back to sometime in 2008. When asked for a specific release date, it was reiterated that it would ship in 2008.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a “reimagining” of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, updated with new graphics and content to bring it to the Xbox 360 and PS3. While what this update will bring as far as content goes is still unknown, we DO know that both Starbreeze Studios and Tigon Studios have returned.
If you can’t wait for the Riddick update, Starbreeze just recently released the uber-awesome FPS The Darkness. So play that.

Well, I am pleased to report that Resident Evil 5 will be released as early as Q1 of 2009!

In the most recent issue of Famitsu, Capcom’s Jun Takeuchi has revealed that Resident Evil 5 won’t be ready for release next year. Talk about a bummer, eh? I guess we can take solace in the fact that Jun Takeuchi did reveal that Chris Redfield will be in Resident Evil 5.
I think we’ve known that for some time, but it’s nice to have clarification.

50 Cent's new album, "Curtis," has been pushed back another week from Sept. 4 to Sept. 11, according to Interscope, who declined to give a reason for the move. "Curtis" was originally slated for a June 26 release but was pushed back in late May.

A man in a wheelchair accidentally got himself stuck in the grille of a semi-truck and was then pushed for about four miles down the highway at approximately 50 mph, according to authorities.
The man, who was 21 years old, did not get injured but they still took him to the hospital to make sure. The reason that he was not injured was because he was secured to his wheelchair by a seat belt.
According to Kathy Morton of the Michigan State police, “The man spilled his soda pop, but he wasn’t upset.” The police also said that they received the call on Wednesday, where the caller told police, “You are not going to believe this: There is a semi truck pushing a guy in a wheelchair on Red Arrow Highway.”
The investigation showed that the man pulled out in front of the semi-truck at a gas station and somehow got his wheelchair handles stuck in the grille. Morton said about the man in the wheelchair when they stopped the truck; “When he saw us, he was

FORMER Australia batsman Greg Blewett has retired from cricket, saying South Australia could not guarantee him even one game next summer.
Blewett, who fell from favour with Redbacks selectors last season, had one year left on his $300,000, three-year contract but said he was retiring to pursue a combined coaching and commentary career.
"It was a hard decision but it was one that was made for me," Blewett told FOXSPORTS.com.au.
"It was made pretty clear to me that it didn't matter what happened, they weren't going to select me. So the thought of doing a pre-season and training again without any real chance of playing first-class cricket didn't appeal to me.
"I'm going to be working for FOX SPORTS this summer doing domestic cricket and doing some coaching with the Redbacks, so there were some opportunities that were too hard to knock back."

Anyways, its apparently not going to be a hot summer as 50 dictated, as “Curtis” has gotten pushed back till September 4th.
Reasons are still unknown, but as NahRight mentioned, Cam’s little response might of had something to do with it…
Enough time has passed to recover from 50 Cent's acting in 2005s Get Rich or Die Tryin (it was like a combination of sleepwalking and constipation), but now fans are in for another disappointment: His new CD, Curtis, which is humbly named after himself, will debut in the fall instead of the summer.
50 Cent’s new album Curtis, which was previously scheduled to be released on June 26th, will now be released on September 4, 2007. With the album near completion and unable to make the original June date, a simultaneous worldwide release necessitated a push until September. “I’m an international artist. My fans worldwide deserve to receive my album at the same time as my fans here in the US.
