Yet another delay and this time its the launch of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed as reported by Fudzilla.Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed for both Nintendo DS and PC, and the games are now set for launch on March 28th.As you may know, Assassin's Creed was previously scheduled to launch in February for the DS version and in March for the PC version, but now we have more than two more months to wait for this game. The previous statement also means that users have two more months to fulfill the Ubisoft's high PC requirements for Assassin's Creed.In addition to the Assassin's Creed delay, Ubisoft has also pushed the launch of Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Elements back one week, to 15th February. Ubisoft just keeps on delaying its titles.

As you know doubt heard Tabula Rasa has been pushed back about two weeks (formerly pre-order date 10/16 and launch 10/19) to 10/30 pre-order start date and 11/2 official launch date. As you also know I have been playing the game for quite a while. This is a step in the right direction. Scott Derrickson’s remake of classic sci-fi film The Day The Earth Stood Still has had a release date change. Originally set to release on May 9th, the film is now set to be released on 12th December 2008. The previous release date would see the film go head-to-head with Speed Racer.
It may seem like a smart business move to change release dates so the film wouldn’t be up against such a big movie but it wasn’t the reason the film got pushed back. The Day The Earth Stood Still hasn’t begun principal photography yet and was moved back purely because it couldn’t meet the Summer release deadline.
The remake is to be directed by Scott Derrickson from a script by David Scarpa. The original 1951 film by Robert Wise is considered to be one of the best Sci-Fi films of all time and was debated for it’s religious symbolism and many interpretations.

A man in a wheelchair accidentally got himself stuck in the grille of a semi-truck and was then pushed for about four miles down the highway at approximately 50 mph, according to authorities.
The man, who was 21 years old, did not get injured but they still took him to the hospital to make sure. The reason that he was not injured was because he was secured to his wheelchair by a seat belt.
According to Kathy Morton of the Michigan State police, “The man spilled his soda pop, but he wasn’t upset.” The police also said that they received the call on Wednesday, where the caller told police, “You are not going to believe this: There is a semi truck pushing a guy in a wheelchair on Red Arrow Highway.”
The investigation showed that the man pulled out in front of the semi-truck at a gas station and somehow got his wheelchair handles stuck in the grille. Morton said about the man in the wheelchair when they stopped the truck; “When he saw us, he was

FORMER Australia batsman Greg Blewett has retired from cricket, saying South Australia could not guarantee him even one game next summer.
Blewett, who fell from favour with Redbacks selectors last season, had one year left on his $300,000, three-year contract but said he was retiring to pursue a combined coaching and commentary career.
"It was a hard decision but it was one that was made for me," Blewett told FOXSPORTS.com.au.
"It was made pretty clear to me that it didn't matter what happened, they weren't going to select me. So the thought of doing a pre-season and training again without any real chance of playing first-class cricket didn't appeal to me.
"I'm going to be working for FOX SPORTS this summer doing domestic cricket and doing some coaching with the Redbacks, so there were some opportunities that were too hard to knock back."

The salty tears of Halo fanboys who wanted in on the Halo 3 BETA are streaming like a raging river right now, I’m sure. Why? Because Bungie announced in thir Weekly Update (the same one with the FAQ) that they were pushing back the launch of the Halo 3 BETA for undisclosed reasons.
There are still many details of the Halo 3 beta to be finalized but one thing we did want to confirm is that the beta will not be starting next week. Crackdown will be available in stores starting Tuesday, 2/20, but the Halo 3 multiplayer beta start date is still being finalized. We're still aiming for a Spring release, but it could be more like late Spring.
As soon as we have some firm details we'll be sure to pass them along. In the meantime, enjoy Crackdown itself, which is a blast to play (especially co-op). And don't forget that we still have new Halo 2 hotness coming in the form of brand new multiplayer maps still slated for release this Spring. We'll have more to say about all
There are some people who want Tony Blair to stay in office forever. No, honestly. They must have taken to heart that childish gibberish he came out with on entering office. Something like "a thousand days to prepare for a thousand years" was it? Oh, who cares? Hitler was the other great millenarian fantasist, so it is to be doubted whether there is anything to be proud of in this empty, but almost clever sounding claptrap. Still, it probably had more rhetorical cadence than his normal speeches, which usually sound like he is reading recipes which he is having to translate from a foreign language in which he is not entirely fluent.
The problem is, although we can be pretty sure that Our Dear Leader is actually on his way this time (it could, of course, be just another lie) that we don’t know when and we don’t know whether things will be any better under his successor.
