Announced back during Microsoft's pre-E3 conference last week, Infinity Ward has confirmed that a public beta for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will kick off on Xbox 360 this August. With details being posted regularly on CharlieOscarDelta.com, the developer has claimed the beta will give gamers the chance to experience "unlimited possibilities across new, detailed game environments and modes," as well as handing the team the opportunity to spot and iron out any bugs before the game hits the shelves this November. "This August gamers will get a sneak peek at what is going to be the best multiplayer game this fall," Grant Collier, studio head at Infinity Ward, said in a statement.
