I often thought politics was an educational process, learning something new everyday. Something on the issues and substantive. It would appear however, that would be the case these days, only if one were lucky. Given, now more often than not, news on the political front, to a large extent is about $$s raised, and particularly about the big race coming up in 2008. If the media is the message. Then we have heard the message. Money talks big time! In this presidential election cycle-- less is said about the issues and more about who has the capacity to launch and sustain a credible campaign pumping in dollars as one would air in a dying soul grasping for breath. I spent the weekend with some very important people in my life - my aunts and my cousins. It's my practice at our annual get-together to boss around my cousins as they sous-chef, while I create breakfast magic.
