'She was a truly good person.'The Simple Life star says her mother taught her to remain 'polite and sweet' in the face of critcism.'My mum always tells me to be myself and not get caught-up in the whole Hollywood thing,' she explains. Helen Mirren has been compared to Late Princess Diana.
Helen believes that Princess of Wales and US socialite have many similar personality traits.
According to a magazine Helen said that, ‘I don’t applaud Paris Hilton…but I think she’s pretty cool. She’s developed, like Princess Diana, that deliberate foolishness, which is disarming.’
Can Hilton really be compared to a great personality like
The recent inquest into the death of Princess Di has reported that in her final moments she uttered 'Oh my God, oh my God.' Oh really? Hardly breaking news! I'm sure we would all say something similar if we knew that we only had a few more breaths in this world. All I can say is that the whole situation is tragic. From the actual event to how the world will not let her rest in peace. Please, just let her be! I really do not believe that there was a conspiracy behind what happened. If there is anyone to blame it is the relentless swarm of soulless Paparazzi. Normally I wouldn't care less if celebrities were depressed about them hounding them as they need them. But when it comes to Princess Di, she had no choice. They swarmed her during her life, during her death and still th
Sources close to Britney Spears say her crazy is just not limited to what we see in public. She has a whole other set of crazy going on at home where she lets her freak flag fly. Britney is so obsessed with Princess Diana that she has a creepy shrine in her home and is desperately trying to buy her puffy wedding dress.“She’s utterly obsessed with Princess Diana. We’re worried about it. She’s turned one of the rooms in her house into a shrine to Di — there’s photos, books and cheap souvenirs everywhere. People close to Britney think it’s weird but no one dares tell her as she is so vulnerable right now. Anything could tip her over the edge. We’re all very worried as her behaviour is getting weirder by the day.”And just one more bonus tidbit about Britney (totally unrelated to her Diana obsession) her paranoia has driven her to giving herself a gate permit for entrance to her home. I know right? But the funny part is the name on the pass is Diana Prince. As anyone who i

Britney Spears has recently expressed concern that she faces the same destiny as Princess Diana. She has filled one room of her house with photos, books, and other memorabilia of the late princess of Wales. Britney has been spotted carrying a doll bearing a resemblance to Diana, and, according to one source, talks to it and asks it for advice.

Britney has many things in common with Princess Diana. Both were philanthropists with hearts of gold, both were wonderful with children, and both Britney and the beloved princess had their kooch photo documented more than a porn star.

The official inquest into the death of Princess Diana has finally begun and the Daily Mail has published pictures never before seen, including this one of Diana’s bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones and driver Henri Paul with Princess Diana at the back of the Mercedes looking back (supposedly) at the chasing paparazzi, minutes before the fatal crash.

Aparantly Lord Justice Scott Baker told the potential jurors, who have all been randomly selected from the electoral roll, that the deaths had “created worldwide interest on an unprecedented. You have to put out of your mind anything you have heard out of court. It will not be easy to do that in this particular case but you have to.”
Jurors at the inquest into the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi al Fayed must ignore a decade of intense news coverage, books and TV documentaries about the case.
They were also ordered to reveal any connections to the royal family, Mohamed al Fayed and the secret service.
The candidates have been asked to complete a questionnaire to determine whether they have any prejudices or connections which might make them unsuitable.
Reportally eleven jurors will be chosen from a pool of up to 200 people ahead of the start of the long-awaited case next week.
A shortlist of around 20 to 25 candidates will then be drawn up and the final jury will be swor
Funny how things jog your memory. I took a picture of the Diana memorial (just behind the bowling green area of the park) a few weeks back. Only this morning, while watching a chat show on the BBC, did I remember that I had meant to post it to coincide with the anniversary of her death. On the programme there was a quick blast of the beautiful music played at the close of her funeral, Song for Athene by Sir John Tavener. I thought that it was about time I added the snap to the ongoing story that is Crewe blog. The stone at Queens Park is simple but has been enhanced by Bill Oxley from the Crewe funeral company of the same surname. I'm not sure about the memorial's location, as this is one area of the park that many folk don't visit. In fact, I suspect that many didn't realise it was there at all. Take time to stroll past next time you're at the park...
What do we really know about Lady Diana’s death? We were told this and that by the media. They finally said that Lady Diana was killed by the careless driving of her driver in an effort to allude the paparozzi. I myself left it at that, but through another source I have found reasons to doubt the foregoing accepted explanation of her death. Was she killed? I have read that Lady Di wrote in letters to close associates - that Prince Charles was out to kill her. Yeah, that one blew me away too. What a diabolical thought that is, this is far more suspenseful than television. Could this be the truth ? The source that told me of this alledged and dreaded plan of the beloved Prince Charles, seems to be a reliable group staffed with serious investigators. They said other things too...Like the tunnel the car crashed in, didn’t have security lights working when the princess’s entourage entered it. I’d never heard that before - could this be true? They put forward the idea that the driver

With the publication of the Lord Stevens report into the death of Diana, Dodi Al Fayed and chauffeur Henri Paul it seems like the ashes of this long dead fire have to be raked over again. There seems to be the strange, and totally illogical, contrast created in the media between the conspiracy view on the one hand, and tragic accident view on the other. Just because there was no conspiracy does not mean it was an accident. Surely ever since the infamous Martin Bashir interview it has been obvious that Diana was an accident looking for places to happen. Unfortunately her last excess proved fatal. If anyone else had been killed in a speeding car, with a drunken driver and no seat belts would we be surprised? The very fact that the two people supposedly in charge of the situation (ie the people employing the chauffeur) quite happily got into the car when the chauffeur had been drinking suggests that it was a common event. She may have believed the fairy tale she tried to project, bu
