There just aren't enough hours in a day. I haven't had a moment to do any new illustrations for the last 2 weeks. So, this week seemed like a great excuse to post a primitive drawing by Liam. He drew the old lady who swallowed the fly, spider, etc. And here's another primitive scribble from my archives. This one is circa 1972. As they kept score in a notebook, I drew my Grandma and Grandpa playing cards. Personally, I think Liam is a better artist at age 4 than I was.

Oh, so lately there are new dinosaurs and other prehistoric life being unearthed and announced to the whole world. One is the discovery of a tiny pterosaur, Nemicolopterus. The other is a discovery of a hollow created hadrosaur, Valafrons, an Early Tertiary bat Onychonycteris finneyi, and now we have a discovery of 2 early carnosaurs, Kryptops palaios and Eocarcaria Dinops. These 2 carnosaurs, an Abelisaurid and a Carcarodontosaurid, live in Africa 110 million years ago at the same time as Suchomimus, a spinosaurid who search for fish along rivers and flood plains while Kryptops and Eocarcaria hunted and scavenged in search for big herbivorous prey to eat.
