To kvetch about gas prices...Its official. The weekly cost of gasoline for my family exceeded 100$ this week. That makes it the highest weekly expense right behind food. If current trends continue it'll become the absolute highest weekly expense in about three months. The last post I made was a rant on how screwed up the primary system is. First I'd like to elaborate on that and offer a solution. First of all I have no problem with the states trying to leapfrog over each other to have the first primary, or move up in the system. The problem I do have is the national party penalizing those states. The people who you are trying to get an opinion of are the voters and they have little or no say in when a primary is held. It is not right at all to disenfranchise them. In this instance the GOP handled the situation better than the Dems because the states in violation had their delegations cut in half. Registered Democrats in Pennsylvania will have the option to choose between Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in order to represent the Democratic party in the upcoming presidential election. A total of 187 delegates are at stake and polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

One more primary is over, and this nomination battle is going on for atleast another two weeks until May 6th when North Carolina and Indiana hold their primaries. Looking at the exit polls from Pennsylvania it had suggested that the race would be close. Lets take a look at a few.If we look at how voters voted today based on gender it shows that Clinton captured 48% of the male vote, and captured 57% of the female vote. Clinton's base has been with female voters and she continued to hold a strong lead with females. Barack captured 52% of the male vote, and 43% of the female vote. If he wants to overtake Clinton he is going to have to cut into her base of female voters. Obama captured the youth vote, which was expected by carrying 61% of the 18-29 block, and he also captured the 30-44 block

By an impressive 10% margin. The problem is that she only picked up roughly a dozen pledged delegates. As the number crunchers point out she'd have to win by 80% in the remaining races to catch up to Obama. With Obama predicted to win Oregon and North Carolina thats not going to happen. That brings us to the real question:So super delegates, who is it going to be?

 As I write this, Hillary Clinton is projected to win Pennsylvania, currently she has an 8% lead and it is projected to go up. This appears to be just what the doctor ordered for Hillary. But what does it mean?  Hillary has no chance of catching Obama, she has almost no chance of winning the popular [...]
