Morning Notes: Mr. Coffee presses on with Sonics suit
Former Sonics owner Howard Schultz has no intention of dropping his lawsuit against current owner Clay Bennett and is Professional Basketball Club ownership group. Schultz’s fraud and breach suit is a long shot according to many legal experts, but the former owner thinks this is the best opportunity for Seattle to get an NBA team back. Richard Yarmuth, Schultz’s attorney said of last week’s

Heidi Montag’s fake life presses on.
Look, Heidi Montag is hot, but this is getting ridiculous. I think she has worn her own image out. Pretty impressive when you think about it, how many hot chicks wear out being seen in a bikini? The only logical solution I can see for Heidi to save herself now is, well of course, adult [...]

Obama Rebounds -- Hillary Presses On!
Its now post Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Indiana, we awaited the results of an anticipated Blowout to end the race of all "races"-- but 'Rush Limbaugh Chaos continues." But unfortunately, even what one might consider a pretty decisive finish, Senator Obama winning North Carolina with a bang, the 16-month campaign moves on to another state. The horses are back on the tracks, barreling their way to a new finish line. The next stops: West Virginia, Oregon and Kentucky. Senator Clinton, remains the challenger, but presses on, nevertheless. On the contrary, Obama rebounds as front runner/presumptive nominee. Could his standing change given what is likely come, in terms of delegates? Some say yes; many say no. His numbers look pretty good at this time: Clinton 1,691 Obama -- 1,855 (pledged d

      Stop the Presses!
In the past few days, much has been said on the extreme leftist side about how conservatives and Republicans would have rejected Obama's attempts to defuse the Wright controversy no matter what explanation he offered. They claim we would have thought less of him if he defended Wright, and that we would have thought less of him if he threw Wright under the bus, leaving Obama in a Catch-22 situation. For once, you demented liberals got one right. We conservatives wouldn't have been satisfied with anything Obama said or did Tuesday. Obama's speech on Tuesday, March 18th, 2008, was too little, 20 years too late. You see, the time for Obama to wrestle with Wright's racist hate-mongering was 20 years ago when he first heard Wright preach, or when he was deciding whether or not to donate ten

Hot off the Presses: Lil'E wows crowd at pre-school Christmas program, is called a "Little Angel"
I just got back from going to Lil'E's wonderful Christmas program this morning. As a 4-year old (the oldest class), her group does the manger scene all dressed in costumes. Lil'E was an angel (mainly because her best friend at school was also an angel). Here she is, praying over the crèche with her other angel/friend on her left and Mary and Joseph on the right. She did a great job in the whole show - got all the hand motions and words down right. Didn't even look too bored (I saw more than one yawn from some kids). At least I can say that this was not my child (not this time, at least). Not my kid, either. She may run naked through the house at times, but she usually keeps her clothes on in public. That's a good precedent for her future. My parents were there for the show this morning, and we opened presents from them last night. As I have discussed on Kat's post about creepy dolls, Lil'E got a Baby Alive doll. This doll talks, eats, and poops. That's right: poops. And yes, you

Brand New! Hot Off The Presses!
Have you been feeling 'out of sorts' or have your kid's been complaining about being bored? Either way, this brand new release from OLIN is going to offer just what is needed to combat the 'back to school' blues. 'OLIN'S Introduction To Bonsai Gardening' is soon to be a best seller because of a couple of points. When we were assembling this e-book we filled it with just the right amount of information and how-to's but not too much information that you and your kids would be lost soon after opening it. Secondly, we priced this e-book with families in mind, especially just after, 'back to school' fees time! Thirdly, for those families or indiviuals looking for just a bit more information than what the average 'introduction-to' e-book would provide; we included an intermediate level how-to on bonsai trees as a FREE bonus! We truly think we covered all bases and have just the new release for you! Take a peek and see if we're just 'hyping things up' or if it will truly 'fit

Hot Off The Presses: Rachael Ray On David Letterman
Ok, I'm really trying to be nice. The best part of Rachael's appearance was that there was no cooking involved. And she looked fine...nice dress. One thing that was weird, though, was that she sat straight up on the edge of her chair, like she had a rod down her back. Her conversation was relaxed, but she looked uncomfortable. One of the problems could have been that I'm not sure David Letterman knew who she was. Plus, he kept asking her about sweetbreads. To what end, I'm not sure, but it wasn't terribly riveting. AND it didn't seem that she had anything big to talk about it. I know her new season is starting on Monday, but that was mentioned as an afterthought.Oh wait, there was one interesting thing. Rachael Ray admirers will love this, others will grimace. She spent nearly the entire summer taping MANY new 30 Minute Meals AND her tasty travel show or whatever it is. She took a day and a half off at the beginning of the summer and another day some other time and THAT WAS IT...he

Stop the Presses - Celebrities We are Completely Sick of Hearing About
By Jennifer Jordan From CNN to the Enquirer, from Larry King to Barbra Walters, celebrities are in the news constantly. This is intriguing, to a point, but it often changes from intriguing to just annoying. This is particularly true when it comes to certain celebrities, celebrities that are shoved down our throats whenever our mouths are even slightly open. The following is a list of some of the celebrities who are always in the news, even when they shouldn't be.Lindsey Lohan: Is it just me, or is Lindsey Lohan's recent arrest an attempt on her part to make sure other scandalous stars don't get anything she doesn't? I can just picture her, over a hushed conversation with her manager, saying, "Paris got to go to jail; now I want to!" But, of course, she is innocent of any wrongdoing: those drugs in her pocket weren't hers. I'm sure it's true, I know I often have cocaine in my pocket, only it's not so much cocaine as it is pocket lint.Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen: As a twin myself,

Stop The Presses! My Girl Won't Do Oral!
In the game of life, you deal with tiny issues every day. Bills, acne and Dr. Phil are among the more annoying, yet trite problems one comes across, assesses, and manages on a daily basis. But, there are some problems so massive, so stupefying in nature that they command your undivided and relentless attention for a prolonged period of time. A set of circumstances that requires the most immediate, swift and decisive action is if your girlfriend/sex-buddy/wife is not blowing you. Oral sex is the lifeblood of all men. Despite the world's differences, conflicts and sporting rivalries- every man on earth can agree that blowjobs are awesome. Even a bad blowjob, involving a girl nibbling on your stick like corn on the cob is still amazing. Without a good hummer every now and again, we cannot walk confidently through life knowing that, if only for a few minutes (and preferably while watching a sporting event and drinking beer) a woman completely degraded herself by lapping up your awesome

      Print presses on
A common opinion among the online community is that the print medium is dying – at roughly the same rate as the Internet is growing. While this is a distinctly catalytic topic of conversation to whip out just about anywhere (it often leads to heated debates) it’s all too easy to extrapolate a few facts and figures into a bigger, but smudged, picture. Advocates of print will tell you that print will never die because: The pleasant aesthetics of physically paging/browsing through a newspaper are irreplaceable. The Internet is far from pervasive in the third-world thanks to slow economic growth and insufficient telecommunications infrastructure. Reaching a point where everyone can access every bit of information they need on the Internet is an idealistic approach which can never be attained in reality. You can’t exactly start a fire, or line a bird cage, with a computer monitor. Advocates of the Internet will tell you that print will cease to live be

Hot Off The Presses: Giada Citing
What was Giada doing on The Today Show, sitting on the end of the chat couch next to David Gregory and Natalie Morales and some rather cute weatherman this morning (Monday, March 26th)? Apparently, she's a Today contributor. Who knew? (I stopped watching when Jane Pauley left.) I was just channel surfing, while on the treadmill (Christina Aquilera had finished and I was waiting for Fergie and Luda) and I spied Giada. She was working out with the Jackie Warner from Bravo's WORK OUT. If that's not cross promotion gone haywire, I don't what is... Anyway, Jackie, famous for her volatile girlfriends, is literally ALL OVER Giada. She makes her do a "man's" push up and poor little Giada really looks like she's never done one before. That gave Jackie the perfect opportunity to practically LIE ON TOP OF HER. Then, she gave Giada milk "jugs" to lift with - who calls them THAT unless you're thinking of something entirely different? Thankfully, Giada thought to zip up, really high, nothing

The Los Angeles Times: Blogs can top the pressesTalking Points Memo drove the U.S. attorrneys story, proof that Web writers with input from devoted readers can reshape journalismExcerpt:"In December, Josh Marshall, who owns and runs TPM , posted a short item linking to a news report in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette about the firing of the U.S. attorney for that state. Marshall later followed up, adding that several U.S. attorneys were apparently being replaced and asked his 100,000 or so daily readers to write in if they knew anything about U.S. attorneys being fired in their areas. For the two months that followed, Talking Points Memo and one of its sister sites, TPM Muckraker, accumulated evidence from around the country on who the axed prosecutors were, and why politics might be behind the firings. Cameron Presses Bodies With Oscar Nominee
Hey, random couple alert. Thursday night, Cameron clearly put on her fancy new out on the prowl (rraaawwwrrr) boots and hit the town.Who did she pick up? Why none other than Blood Diamond Oscar Nominee Djimon Hounsou...obviously. I'm a new convert on the Djimon is hot bandwagon (did you see him at the SAGs?) so I'm all for this pairing. Here's more of what went down: "It looked like the perfect post-Valentine's Day date," a patron tells of the pair, who were with several other friends. "They were totally vibing each other, lip-on-lip action," says the source. "Cameron looked so happy... Djimon followed her every move." Diaz, 34, and Hounsou, 42, hit the dancefloor for Michael Jackson's "Burn This Disco Out" and Gnarls Barkley's version of "Gone Daddy Gone," says the onlooker, adding, "They were dancing really close, bodies pressed together."First of all, "vibing?" "Lip-on-lip action?" Um, best anonymous source ever. Second, awesome, now he should just bring her as his date to
