Today was just one of those mornings. The dog was scratching at the back door (which is glass, thus his scratching at it scratches at my last nerve), the cat was enjoying knocking everything possible off the kitchen counter, Alex was yelling to get out of his crib, and I woke up feeling like something sharp had exploded inside my head.
I was thus not terribly thrilled about Alex tossing half his breakfast on the floor, or the fact that my living room looked like a hurricane blew through distributing toys, sippy cups, dog hair and snacks all over the place.
A little while later though, I noticed my son was a bit droopy. He went to bed a little late last night, and got up earlier than usual, and it was clear he was already wiped and ready for a nap.
