I am very excited to be doing this post today because I know how to use bullet points with Typepad. I don't know how to use bullet points with Wordpress, so I can never do bullet points on my own blogs.I was very excited to see that Ashley and Dan Rua were also going to be on the same plane as Mrs. Fab and I going home, because I figured that increased the chance we would make it home safely. What are the odds that four icons such as us would all go down in one air disaster? The one moment I will remember and cherish above all others about PostieCon is when Ted was freaking out in the men's room as he realized that the food coloring from the cake plow frosting was not coming off...Ted throws a helluva party. The shindig at Tao was nothing short of spectacular. Pretty girls and boys would bring us tray after tray of mouth-watering appetizers, open bar, good music...it was pretty cool. Sure, that's how Ted lives all the time, but it was nice of him to give
As I am sure you all know from watching RockStartup, organizing PostieCon was a huge effort for us (particularly Brit and Ashley who did a fantastic job). At the end of the day I was pretty happy with the event, though I wish I would have seen more Posties there. The attendance at BlogWorld itself wasn't quite what I had expected, but all and all I think we both did pretty well considering this was the first year for each of these conferences.
Now I have a few big questions for you:1. Should we do this again next year?2. Would you plan on attending next year in person (and did you attend this year in person or online)?3. If you come in person would you be willing to pay a small fee ($25-50) to help us put on a quality event again?4. What was the best part of the event?5. What would you change?
This is a big investment for IZEA and we are doing it for the advertisers and posties we serve. I want to make sure that you see the value in what we are doing before we commit to doing it aga
For those of you that couldn't make it to PostieCon 07 there is a ton of media out there just waiting for you. Trevor was nice enough to get some streaming going for the whole event, you can check it out here.

It would be...wow.I had a blast. You'll be reading on a lot of Postie blogs about the unveiling of SocialSpark. In fact, you can get Colleen's early take on it here. I'm very excited about it. But right now I just want to say a few words about all the great people I met. You know me, I'm a people guy.The highlight for me? A massive cake plow held right after lunch. If you'd like to see a video of it, you can do so over at BenSpark.com. I would like to thank my new best friend Courtney for not only being the first person to ever lick my head, but for doing it three times. The conference was great, the discussions and Q&As were great, and the unveiling was tremendously exciting, but I knew going in that the real reason I wanted to be there was to meet my fellow bloggers. I have met quite a few bloggers in my time, and it's always been a most enjoyable experience. I think these last few days have been even more special,

I am considering doing a road trip to PostieCon in an RV. My goal would be to see at least 8 and 10 Posties or Advertisers along the way and actually pickup one lucky Postie to ride with us and blog the trip. This isn't set in stone yet, I am just trying to gauge what kind of interest there is for something like this. I started a thread on the board and it seems like there may be some takers for the trip. How many of you are along the way and would be interested in doing a Postie Patrol? How about a group get together?
The map above was generated by mapquest as the fastest route but I may be up for some detours if we can get some groups of posties together in different cities. I think it would be awesome to meet up for bowling or wings, something like that. I know that we have some large concentrations of Posties in Atlanta, Tampa, Phoenix and Dallas.
Who would be up for meeting up either as a group or as an indiviudal? Who would be up for grabbing a ride? We would most likely le
We have been throwing around some crazy ideas about what to do late night at this year's PostieCon. We are seriously considering throwing a giant PayPerPost style midnight scavenger hunt. We would make it a charity event and charge a small fee for each team that enters. If you are coming to PostieCon would you be up to getting a little crazy with us?

To save for PostieCon simply select that option when you take an Opp. It functions in the same way as donate to charity previously did. Can't wait to see you all there.

I've spent many a day now, writing what is on my mind and sharing my findings and knowledge with the small business, drop shipping and affiliate marketing world through my blog. Mind you, I'm far from an expert, but I do have experience to share. All bloggers have something to bring to the table. Well, how about all those bloggers gather at one place at one time and put their heads together? That's the brainchild of PayPerPost.A great blog conference is on the way. Beginning May 31st in Orland, PayPerPost is proud to host this event called PostieCon 2007, bringing in some of the top bloggers from around the globe. People such as Robert Scoble, David Ponce, Michelle Madhok and others will be on-hand to teach and instruct attending bloggers on the best ways to attract and keep visitors and to monetize your blog for optimum results. The theme for this year is "You Are A Rock Star," encouraging bloggers to perform to the best of their abilities and shoot for top performance. I realize that some of you can't afford the trip to PostieCon and I want as many of you to be able to come as possible. We are already giving away free blogger conference passes to every 50th person who signs up, but this morning it dawned on me that the airfare and hotel could still be to much for some of you. I starting thinking...how can I pay for someone's entire trip to PostieCon? I think I have the answer.Over the next 30 days you have an opportunity to earn a trip to PostieCon. The person who converts the most new Posties off of their affiliate badges (includes review my post and regular affiliate badge) between today and April 12 wins. PayPerPost will pay for your airfare, give you free admission to the conference and pay for your hotel in downtown Orlando. I will even pick you up at the airport personally!I can't wait to see who wins. Good luck to you all.

If you ever use Technorati you probably recognize that name from the little famous blogger profiles that they do on the homepage. I have interviewed Michelle before and she has a lot of insight to offer bloggers and advertisers alike.Michelle is the founder of Shefinds.com and is definitely a Rock Star blogger. She has used her blog to help propel the visibility of Shefinds.com and has created a loyal following in the process. We are extremely excited to have Michelle join our list of speakers! Check out her site!
When I read about this blog conference, I got excited for a while. I have an upcoming trip to the USA, and I thought: wow, maybe I can join this bloggers gathering!
But… when I read more, I got disappointed. They are having it much later than my USA trip. It is scheduled on 1st and 2nd of June, in Orlando, Florida. They are holding it in Orlando simply because it is a world renowned entertainment capital and a fun place to be. Ya, who would like to hold such exciting event in Houston? (no offend ya)
The theme for the conference is You’re A Rock Star. The goal is to introduce bloggers ways of improving their blogs and how to make it more profitable. They will be having individual presentations from excellent bloggers, and group discussions too. It sounds really too fun to be missed.
If you have a blog that you are proud of, e.g. high traffic, high income, lots of comments/WOM, good contents, etc, why don’t you check it out at their site. They are l
What better way to celebrate the rock star theme at PostieCon than with a tournament style Rock Off featuring Guitar Hero 2. Do you have what it takes to beat down Veronique??? She is a hard core Guitar Hero fan and she plays dirty! What about DaSnipe? He looks like a gamer.Competitions will be going on throughout both days. The final battle will take place on stage at the PostieCon awards banquet with $1000 in prizes going to the winner. It is going to be awesome. I can't wait to see who wins.We have tons cool things like this that will be announcing over the coming weeks. Register for PostieCon now!

This conference isn't just for Posties, it's for ALL bloggers! The theme of PostieCon '07's is "You're A Rock Star" and the goal is to educate bloggers on how to build up traffic and their readership. The conference is going to be held at The Ballroom at Church Street inOrlando, FL.I think Florida is a great place to have PostieCon! You could take the whole family and make a summer vacation out of it! OR you could just plan a little getaway for yourself. Leave Dad home with the kids and hop a plane for some fun in the sun! Meet fellow bloggers, learn a few things, make new friends, pretend you are a rockstar for a few days!Curious what the Schedule looks like for PostieCon? We have had a number of advertisers ask about sponsoring PostieCon. This is a great opportunity to get your product in the hands of Bloggers and connect on a personal level. The sponsorship packages are very affordable and we are open to all sorts of ideas. We want to make this awesome for Advertisers and Bloggers alike.
We are open to all sorts of ideas. From vehicle test drives to wine tastings, if you have a creative idea and a cool product we want to help you get infront of the people that can help it spread. Contact Joe Vaughn via email at joe (at) payperpost (dotcom).
I am pleased to announce that Robert Scoble will be the keynote speaker at PostieCon 07. The event will be held June 1&2 in downtown Orlando on Church Street at the newly renovated Ballroom. The cost to bloggers will be $200 and is an absolute bargain for all that will be included. The whole team has been working extremely hard to put this event together and we are delighted to have Robert on board. The theme of this event is "You're a Rockstar" and Scoble is certainly that. Scoble was recently voted #9 on Forbes top 25 Internet Celebrities list. Much like PayPerPost, Scoble has had his share of controversy and much like me he stands up for what he believes in. He has taken some shots at PayPerPost in the past, but has an open mind to our concept and has helped shape our direction in the past. It took incredible guts for him to agree to do this keynote and I applaud him for doing so.Bloggers are making a lot of assumptions about PostieCon so let's get some things straight. PostieC
Britt, Marty and I have all been hard at work finalizing the major details for PostieCon 07. We're going to get with Ted early next week since he's back from London, and hammer out the topline logistics! Plan is to launch a site devoted to the event sometime next week, and then you'll find out everything you've been itching to know! And of course any pertinent updates will be available here as well as on our MySpace page. (There are going to be some exciting things leading up to the event so keep a close watch!)Are you excited? I hope so! It's going to be an amazing two days of learning, sharing, networking and most of all having fun!Start spreadin' the word 'cause we wanna blow this thing outta the water! Ashley E
