Does everybody remember Postie Patrols? Postie patrols are spontaneous challenges for Posties. We would show up at a Posties house or have them meet us somewhere and we would challenge them to contsests, scavenger hunts, trivia, whatever! And if the Posties completed the challenge they were rewarded with cash, prizes and postie-stardom. So far there have been six Postie Patrols, which one is your
The Postie-cards keep comin' in...and we love it! Soon we'll have enough to start our display here in the IZEA office. Veronique and I have a creative idea of how we'd like to display all the postcards we've been receiving, but we'd like to see if you have any interesting ideas. If you do please leave it here in the comments field -- we might actually use it! The cards we received today are from Des Moines and Las Vegas. The first card was sent by Postie Jody, who manages three blogs: - Iowa Geek - The HKWT Blog (nominated for "Best Travel Blog" at the Blogger's Choice Awards) - Fab Food Friday The second Postie-card comes to us from Postie Julie by way of Las Vegas. Here's Julie's blog: - Julie's Journal
Coming back from lunch earlier today, there was a Postie-card (of sorts) waiting at the front desk. While the card is addressed to both myself and Veronique, she's on vacation so I went and opened-up what appeared to be a little envelope. Inside the envelope was a very kind note to the entire IZEA team, along with a customized postcard of "Chole," in training to be the "youngest pro-blogger" according to her mother Postie Mambok. If you'd like to send a Postie-card, representing the city, state, country or province you live in, you can do so at: IZEA c/o Ash & V 150 North Orange Avenue, Suite 412 Orlando, FL 32801 When you have a few moments show Mamabok some love by visiting her sites: - Babybokchoi.com - Gator-byte.com - Monsterbrat.com

Have you signed up for SocialSpark yet? I would assume that you probably have heard of it by now if you are reading this blog. But maybe you haven't made the leap. Do it! I had the good fortune of getting in to the Private Alpha early with one of the Golden Tickets from Ted Murphy. Which meant, get in there, poke around and try and break stuff and tell IZEA what I found. I think I could be a pretty decent QA tester after all of that. I love the social media aspect to the format of SocialSpark. I can add people as friends and I was doing that pretty steadily and finding some great blogs in the process. Then the floodgates opened and well there are so many people on right now. I think when I last looked at all the friends that Ted has there were 2338. That is all the bloggers and advertisers

When Veronique and I started our weekly lunch sessions last month, we announced that we're going to start a "Postie-card" wall in our office. Think...the Great Wall of Posties only for postcards. We want a central place where we can represent all of the Posties--and Advertisers--in the worldwide IZEA family! So, if you haven't heard about this, or weren't planning on taking part, please send us a postcard of the area where you live. It's easy, it's cheap, and you might get some linklove out of it...like these Posties who have already sent us postcards from their city (and ironically they're both from other countries): Postie Heather in Beautiful British Columbia: Postie Owencutajar: Thanks, guys! And keep the Postie-cards coming!

I signed up for payperpost as a blogger when my blog came its third month old, being the required minimum age of a blog. I contacted Customer Love to review my post but my blog got disappoved because of my casino sponsors. So I began creating Writeshy, my blog about blogging, for my payperpost entry. And at last, after another three months of waiting, the blog got approved by payperpost. I am very happy that I can now earn something from payperpost and I hope that I will earn a lot that I expected.Read More...
When I first signed on for PayPerPost I didn't know anything about promoting my blog. I had only been blogging for a few months and had a small group of regular readers, mostly people who knew me from various online communities. I quickly discovered that the best-paying opportunities were out of my reach because I had no status, as determined by a mysterious algorhythm that apparently controlled my fate. I also discovered that there were people who were willing to help, but I had no idea what they were talking about half of the time. To all of the new posties who find yourselves in the same position today, this is for you. One of the most exciting aspects of IzeaRanks is that we know how our RealRank is determined and can take steps to improve it. It's all about traffic and links. One of t

PayPerPost is perhaps the most sought about paid-to-review site, and although many PPP Posties have been slapped by the gargantuan Google by downgrading their PageRanks, these bloggers still pursue on PPP. Who wouldn't, if you get good amount of money just for making a review post? That's extra income, plus traffic too. And, mind, it also gives self-satisfaction when you've finished a good

Yesterday I was sitting in my living room and I heard a strange noise coming from down the hallway. I was a bit alarmed since I live alone, and honestly I was a bit scared. Quietly & carefully I arose from my couch and tiptoed across the room. In the darkness I peeked around the corner that led to the hallway and was floored by what I saw! To my shock there was 2008 staring me straight in the face. Can you believe it?!?! Right there in front of me! All I can recall is my immediate re-enactment of the movie poster for ''Home Alone,'' with my hands flat-palmed against each of my cheeks, mouth wide open. Get it? 2008 is just around the corner? OK, it's bad, I know. That's my feeble attempt to battle the wit and humor of Mr. Fab, but I fear I failed miserably. Oh well, I can never be accused of not trying, right? My point is, the new year is nearly here and so is our new office space! While we haven't ''officially'' moved in yet the team did get to see the nearly-com
Twas the night before Christmas, and all through my house,The bunnies were sleeping, and so was my spouse.I was in my recliner and starting to nap,My laptop precariously poised on my lap.I was dreaming of PageRank, of fours, fives and sixes,Of glory days back before vile Google "fixes".I dreamt also of PostieCon, back in Nevada,And those casinos that left my pockets stuffed full of nada. When out on the lawn there arose such a ruckus,I thought it might be Google, back once more to **** us.I grabbed my old shotgun, and vowed to pursueThose black-hearted devils back to Mountain View.It streaked across the horizon, headed my way,And it took out my mailbox, much to my dismay. It was clear when I focused, and looked again closely,That it was a SocialSpark sleigh, with eight Power Posties. With a handsome young driver, by whom they were led,I knew in a moment it had to be Ted.They were dressed all in spandex, without one ounce of shame,And he whistled and shouted, and called them by n
Check-out the latest episode of RockStartUp. Titled "Rock Star: Postie," it follows the Marketing Team as they head to CollegeFest in Boston. This event was particularly fun because it enlisted the help of two Posties: Drew and Justin.

I know that many of you are excited to come to PostieCon (as you should be). However, I'm sure that a number of Posties are stretching their budget to get to PostieCon and unless they win it big at the slot machine they won't have much discretionary money for entertainment in Las Vegas. Have no fear, techie's here to show you all the great FREE and inexpensive entertainment you can find in Las Vegas. These activities come in the form of fantastic art, outdoor activities, talented performances, roaring animal shows and beautiful plant displays.Rock and Roll Memorabilia at The Hard Rock Hotel and CasinoFrom the Beatles to ZZTop, The Rock has collectibles that will bring you back in time or have you relish the present in a display that is rare and brings forth the excitement of Rockand Roll.Free Casino LoungesOften casinos have lounges where you can sit down and enjoy music without the hassle of having to purchase food or drink. It has been about six months since I first joined PayPerPost and I have to admit that it has been a great experience. At first I did not do many opportunities, but I have picked up the pace and have seen a large financial increase because of it. This concept of blog marketing is catching on like wild fire and does not show any signs of slowing down in the near future.I first heard about PayPerPost through other blogs. I knew I wanted to try to make money on the Internet, but I had no idea how. Therefore, I began surfing other blogs to see how those bloggers had done it and what method they used to achieve profits. I noticed that PayPerPost began continuously popping up, so I decided to take a look. PayPerPost provided a very simple and well organized plan for bloggers: create posts on specific opportunities and leave it posted on your blog for thirty (30) days, after that, you get paid! Nothing could be simpler. You may be asking, if PayPerPost is so great, then how much have you
I can't believe that the unveiling of Argus is a mere 45 days away. We are burning the midnight oil every night chugging away on what will be a gigantic leap forward for PayPerPost. Thousands of man hours have gone into Argus already and the system is looking better and more exciting by the day. I have got to hand it to the Dev team, the commitment to the project has been outstanding.
As mentioned in some of my previous posts PPP Tools (or whatever they will be called in 45 days) will be play a pivotal role in the Argus release. We will be using these tools to provide advertisers with accurate page view and visitor information rather than having to rely of Google PR or Alexa Score. This will also be great for those international bloggers who have a large US readership as we will be able to report geographic readership information as well. Of course, you will have the option of whether or not you choose to make this information public or not in Argus.
We are ready to test our blo

I am back peeps...! Ahahaha, I consider myself a new and changed, or should I say newly improved postie. I got suspended for a week at the PPP, and got lucky enough to be given a second chance. Yahooh! I can live with that, I mean I am pretty happy. Anyway, I like to talk kinda informal when I am just goofing around, and not so serious. Unless I am having a difficult time, like in my hour of need. Sure, I had a bad time with receiving my uncle's horrible death, and still furiously mad waiting for those who took his life to be hanged, well, I wish, but it seems that if they ever get caught they will only get a few years in jail. Hmmm...the way the people there works and not so reliable system, I am not hoping for a lot nor should I expect. I absolutely hope not just a few years but many years as it should be life sentence-natural life without parole. But my family will be lucky to see them serve 15-25 years if not less. It makes me feel hopeless to think about it sometimes. Gosh, let m
Hi Posties!Late last night, we found the system was acting odd when the Review team was working the payouts (or your approved posts that are now 30 days old). Throughout today, further research into the system info showed us the issue was sporadic throughout the weekend and meant that payouts that looked as though they completed did not. We're sorry for the delay, but we seem to have a list of those payouts affected. The team will be focused on clearing those out asap, and we are aiming to have payouts up to date as of Thursday due to the volume. Thanks for being patient as we clear out the backlog. After Thursday, if you have any payments overdue, please let us know via a Ticket. We found this same issue affected some Posties trying to accept PPP Direct Opp's. That, too, is resolved so if you have any PPP Direct Opp's pending, you should be able to accept them now. Thanks,Karen

I just wanted to update everyone on an Opportunity that included some of our extended services. As you may know, we recently launched a lot of new capabilities that in total make up the PayPerPost Ecosphere. Here is a great example of how our Postie Pack service works for Advertisers. In its most recent Opportunity, withcharacterkids.com asked Posties to discuss their favorite baby product. As a value-add to the campaign, PayPerPost worked with the Advertiser to deliver sample products to qualifying Posties, in this case expecting mothers. Posties could choose one from the follow three high-quality products: Carter’s Easy Access Diaper Bag Eddie Bauer Backpack Diaper Bag MIGI “Splash” Crib Bedding The campaign proved to be a huge success! Just check out some of the pictures below!Only PayPerPost goes to this extreme to help Advertisers and Bloggers connect. Be sure to check out the PayPerPost Ecosphere page to learn more about the many new services we can offer.
When I was walking home from work tonight I passed by the pizza place on the corner of the street. I instantly thought back to the 2nd Postie Patrol and almost yacked in my mouth. I wonder if I will ever be able to think about pizza in the same way. I didn't feel good for weeks after this. If you are a newb you have to check out the second Postie Patrol, it is a classic.
Hi Posties,This is just a quick FYI to let you know that post payouts went extremely slowly yesterday, and some were delayed, due to updates at PayPal throughout the day. We got through as many as possible, and we do have folks working on them this weekend.I apologize if you did not get your payment on time yesterday, but you can expect it soon!! Thanks,Karen
Do you know who that is? Yep, that is the proud new owner of our latest HDTV Tuesday Opp: Laurie! What was the prize you ask? It's super! It's blu! And it plays blue rays! No, I'm not talking about the Genie from Aladdin, I'm talking about the awesome LG Super Blue Player! Also, the player is not really blue, it's black.Laurie's post about the fancy cat is awesome! And by 'fancy cat' I mean the HDTV Tuesday Opp and by 'awesome' I mean spectacular! Three cheers for Laurie!
As you know we've been on the hunt for Postie photos, for our "Great Wall of Posties." Keep 'em coming! Yesterday I received a package from Canada, from one of our Posties, and it wasn't a photo but something quite unique:(Who's that catching a ride on the bus?)Here's the link love:http://www.doubledeckerbuses.org/blog/And here's the fabulous stuff we're sending (this, too, could be yours!):I'm not sure yet where to put the bus, but I'll make sure it's in an area where everyone can enjoy it!

Oh my! It's time for another Postie Patrol! This time the PPP crew will be in LA for OMMA but will be hitting the beach! We will be heading down to Hermosa Beach on March 18th in the afternoon for a Patrol. We are looking for 2 Posties who are athletic, energetic, love the sun and who are not afraid of a little water. Just before Christmas, HP and PPP teamed up for HP's Digital Photography Review through the latest Postie Patrol. It took place in the very chilly Chicago (I was just there couple of months ago!!).
The lucky postie this time was Robyn Nykaza. So, what is Postie Patrol? Watch the video below for the answer:
