Former “American Idol” finalist Jessica Sierra was arrested early this morning on felony battery charges. She allegedly hit a man over the head with a glass at a cafe in her native Tampa, Fla.

An actor in the Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven television program is free on bail after he was arrested early Tuesday and charged with marijuana possession. Orlando Brown, 19, who plays Eddie Thomas, the best friend of star Raven Symone on the popular show, was arrested after police pulled him over about 1 a.m. in the 4200 block of Westheimer. The officer stopped the 1992 Acura Integra that Brown was driving because the headlights were off. During a search of the car, the officer found the marijuana on the driver’s side door. Brown, in an interview, denied that the marijuana belonged to him. Also a singer and rapper, he said a friend lent him the car to use during his stay in Houston to make an album. Brown said he thought the car’s headlights were on when the officer pulled him over. Brown was taken into custody without incident and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession. ANTIOCH, Tenn.- Some people in a Nashville neighborhood are furious over a new rule that makes it illegal to own a gun. Residents in Nashboro Village said it's unconstitutional and leaves them defenseless. They are usually run by boring busy bodies who think they are entitled to control the destiny of those around them. Now it has gone too far. I hope these residents go ballistic and begin wearing pistols every day while they are out mowing their lawns, walking the dogs, whatever it takes. Personally I would be patrolling my yard perimeter with the shotgun just to be spiteful until it was repealed with a big number 2 on my shirt. I usually don't get to worked up over gun issues but this one combined with the stupidity of HOA rules

The two players from Gonzaga, Josh Heytvelt and Theo Davis, were arrested after a traffic stop in which their taillights weren’t working. The officers smelt the maryjane from the car and searched the vehicle, only to find the mushrooms. They were arrested for the investigation of drug possession. According to Washington state law, the pot found was only enough for a misdemeanor drug charge while the possession of the ’shrooms is a felony.
Heytvelt is the second leading scorer for the Bulldogs while Davis is red-shirting this season after preseason shoulder surgery. Both players have been suspended indefinitely by the team.
