The idea that polar bears and penguins populate the same geographical region is a common misconception that plagues far too many individual's minds. Sure, it might seem like a nice thing to believe - polar bears roaring ferociously, chasing poor, defenseless penguins around over snow and ice, and devouring them whole. This, however, is pure hogwash. Polar bears are entirely native to the northern hemisphere, on the complete opposite end of the Earth from where penguins make their homes. Perhaps the worst offender in spreading penguin-polar bear interaction lies is the Coca Cola company.
