I entered The Stadium at around 12:30, it was drizzling, and the tarp was on the field. It continued to drizzle until about 1:45, when it stopped raining completely. NBC have finally announced that the cult 80's show Knight Rider will return to our screens for a new series. The show will return in February 17th 2008, there are to be a number of changes to the show but the two major ones is that David Hasselhoff will play an old Michael Knight but the big news is that KITT will be played by a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR instead of the old Firebird, the voice to KITT will be played by Will Arnett.
According to Auto Blog the new series of KITT will have three different cars that they will use for different scenes in the show, the first is a 540-hp standard version which is used for all the normal scenes, then there will be a high-speed version which has body amour for the KITT Attack mode, and finally we have the Remote version of KITT. The cool thing with the new KITT is that nanotechnology allows the car to change both its shape and color.

Maybe Karl Rove thought that he could get away with such a blatant lie around Thanksgiving as fewer people would be around to do any fact checking. Fortunately Think Progress caught him and presented the evidence to dispute him. One of the major complaints about George Bush is that after 9/11, when Democrats were behind him in wanting to go after those responsible for the attack and take legitimate action to prevent future attacks, the Bush administration decided to play politics instead. They used the 9/11 attack to justify many of their pre-9/11 goals, including the restrictions in civil liberties in the Patriot Act and the invasion of Iraq. They also took advantage of the attacks to paint those who disagreed with their agenda as being unpatriotic and unwilling to defend the country even though the opposition to their policies was based upon the belief that they were counterproductive to American interests. Events played out to prove that those who opposed the war were right.

The first actor to be given a role in the upcoming G.I. Joe movie is Sienna Miller (Alfie, Stardust), who will be playing the role of Cobra Commander’s lieutenant, Baroness. The sexy femme fatale has always been a fan favorite, as she is both hot and heartless, except for Destro whom she seems to really “dig”.Director Stephen Sommers (The Mummy, Van Helsing) can only hope to pull this off without pissing loyal fans off by changing the storyline or making cool characters seem lame. Transformers was a huge hit so at least we know there is a lot of interest in cartoon and comic series from the 80’s. Stay tunes for more info as it becomes available.
