As a multitasking mom I admit - sometimes I do conference calls when picking up kids from school and sometimes, gasp, I ever talk on phone without my headset while driving. I try not to do this, but well, life happens, and I don't have bluetooth for my iPhone, and cordless headset just happens to get tangled a few times a day....But I hear there is a solution even better than getting a bluetooth..
Commoncraft showcases various easy-to-understand videos including definitions and answers on the common questions. Today, we let them answer the question: What is a blog? through their video: "Blogs in Plain English".

Understanding commodity ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) is actually easier than it sounds. The first commodity ETFs were introduced in 2004 and skyrocketed in the first year. Commodities are things found in nature, like corn, gold, silver, natural gas, and even cattle. Corporations amass large amounts of commodities and sell them off in smaller parts (funds) [...]

Enfin ils essaient. C’est [...]

Twitter has really blown-up since I originally learned about it at BlogHer Business '07 last March. In that time I've spoken to many folks who don't really get or understand what Twitter is, or even what value it offers (to a blogger or an online marketer). I'm certainly not one to decide if Twittering is right for you or how you specifically should use it, but I will share this video I discovered...that pretty clearly conveys what the Twitter application is all about. (Thanks to "The Common Craft Show" for posting the video.) If you're already using Twitter, or decide to start using Twitter after having viewed this video, you can follow us by clicking here or visiting Also, feel free to share with us how Twitter has been helpful to you and your blog or site.
Last night when my wife asked me what the “credit crunch” was all about, I responded, “Well uh, you know, it’s because of the sub-prime mess….and, uh, the banks and….
It was a really bad answer, but truth be told, I didn’t really understand what it was all about. I know about the sub-prime mess [...]
When I started Blogging in September, I encountered dozens of terms which at that time I had not known like RSS, Social Networking, Social Bookmarking etc. After spending some time in the blogosphere, I had become aware of those terms. If you are a newcomer in this game which we call blogging, you may also [...]

I would not normally post this video here on Video Rambler because it fits in better with my Webmaster blog, but I woke this morning to a lovely, and when I say lovely I mean really crappy, surprise when I looked at my Feedburner RSS stats. Listed there under uncommon uses is a website that is using Wordpress that is scraping my website feed for Video Rambler and posting it on their website. Granted they are leaving some links back to Video Rambler, but their site is creating duplicate content of mine which does not help. They also have Google ads plastered all over their site, so not only are they taking the videos I find and posting them (which anyone can do, just click through to the video site) but they are making money off of the time I spend finding videos to post. If they want to post the same videos they can go right ahead, but they could at least write their own witty commentary (I know I am not always witty, but I try). One of the things that makes Video Rambler different tha

I stumbled upon the following video while visiting Blogging Basics 101. It clearly and cleverly explains the reasons why one should subscribe to blogs, what that term actually means, and how to go about doing it. It also mentions Google Reader, my favorite RSS reader:Related Posts:Taking the bass community to the next levelBlogging is good for your careerIncluding user-submitted content in your blogRegrets about using BloggerStrangest blog I have ever seensubscribe to the blog - subscribe to the podcast

If you are fairly new to the Internet, you have probably heard the word "Blog" flying around. But what is a blog? How does it work? And how can I use it on my website? These are all good questions, which I hope to answer for you. What is a Blog?A blog, in simplest terms, is a daily journal of your thoughts that is maintained by a blogger (which would be you) on the web. When posting to a blog you will notice that it is arranged in chronological order - with the most recent additions on top.You can choose to allow your readers to add their own comments/feedback to any issues you may have addressed on your blog. Or, you can add audio to your blog. Pretty neat, isn't it. What a great way to have contact with your customers. Can it be used on my website? Can it be used on my website? Definitely. It can be a great tool for you and your contacts. However, I personally feel that it would be a greater benefit to the established website that has a following. In other words, start with a newslette
Forex is short for "foreign exchange", which makes up the largest financial market worldwide. When you trade in the Forex market, what you're really doing is temporarily investing in a nation's economy, which can lead to profits if their currency rate rises in comparison to where it was previously.
