      Picture Post: Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2008
“Spotted. Robomodels Stam, Trentini, & Lily D parading up and down the Upper East Side in random Dolce & Gabbana wears, while photog SK snaps away. Where’s little Gem, ladies?” If anyone asks, that’s what the Dolce & Gabbana ad feels like. They’re all about the android socialites who prance around Manhattan and feign indifference [...]

Picture Post: Harper’s Bazaar Nov. 2007-Kids…
Harper’s Bazaar has been around for 140 issues, or 11 years and 8 months. So, they’re celebrating! The November issue has a Jennifer Aniston on its cover, and they have created yet another perfectly witty spread that people will be talking about for ages (remember the Simpsons/Linda Evangelista spread?). This one has the gorgeously underage Chanel Iman (I love her so much) posing with a bunch of kids dressed as our fave designers. See the Spread…

Harper’s Bazaar has been around for 140 issues, or 11 years and 8 months. So, they’re celebrating! The November issue has a Jennifer Aniston on its cover, and in the feature story, Jen talks about what’s next now that her break is now, gives advice to all the girls of “young hollywood”, and how she likes to get away from the glare of the public eye (she loves NYC too!). Picture Post: Designed for You
If you pick up the September issue of Seventeen you may notice a couple of things. The first thing is that the cover baring Ashlee Simpson's smiling face looks bit like it could be the September cover for 1980-something. Maybe its just the colors purple and orange together, but it definitely evokes a what's past is present sort of feel. Then you start flipping through, and at the very end of the mag you find a little spread called "Designed for You" shot by Jonathan Miller. The catch is, each extra-cute outfit was styled by some of your favorite designers. Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karen, Max Azria, Betsey Johnson, and Jill Stuart all came up with their idea of the perfect back-to-school outfits, and they're all great choices if you've absolutely no idea what to wear for that all-important first day of school:

      Picture Post: Jordache
Hedi Klum is the new face, or butt, if you will of Jordache jeans, and all I have to say is WOW! The ad was shot by movie director, Brett Ratner, in the Penthouse of LA hotel, Chateau Marmont. In the ads Klum sports only Jordache jeans, some equestrian gear (gloves and a whip), and some strategically placed blonde locks to keep it PG-13. The campaign is going to include "an integrated viral component, bi-coastal outdoor presence, and print ads that will debut in September." All of that fluff can be boiled down into website and maybe some webisodes, billboards, and magazine ads for the normal person. My only problem with Hedi is, she always looks gorgeous. Everytime I see her she's either a bazillion months pregnant and glowing or has perfectly flat abs and glowing. I propose she comes out with a work video for us non-superhuman types![SOURCE]

Picture Post: CI for DKNY Jeans
Being a closet (or maybe not so closet) Fall Out Boy fan, I've been waiting and waiting to see the ad campaign for the new Clandestine Industries for DKNY Jeans line. I actually almost gave up hope, but then I saw the photos on Just Jared, and I have to say the ads are really good. It looks like they made Pete clean for the shoot, and his ever present mask of eyeliner has lightened a bit. My one question is did model, Heather Marks, not wear shoes during the shoot because in the picture on the left she's shorter than Pete, and I happen to know he can't be taller than 5'7" which is the minimum height to be a high fashion model. I wonder how the photographer's direction went, "Yeah, Heather bend down just a little more. A little more. Okay, now look fierce!"If seeing these ads has inspired you to become a Pete Wentz fan, you can go to the CI for DKNY Jeans website and enter to win a sweepstakes to go to NYC and meet Pete at the Macy's launch on September 6th.Honestly, I think Pete

Picture Post: Jean Paul Gaultier F/W '07-'08
I just love these pictures of Gemma Ward and Boyd Holbrook for Jean Paul Gaultier's Fall/Winter 2007-08 collection. I think kilts are completely humorous for some reason, and the sharpie 'stache look on Boyd is completely amusing. I also think Boyd would be absolutely gorgeous if I were still attracted to clean-cut, pretty boys, but unfortunately that space in my heart has been filled with oddly grungy rockers.Even though most of the clothes I wouldn't wear unless paid, I really do like the black dress Gemma is wearing on the left.See a larger view of each photo by clicking on them:[SOURCE]

Picture Post: The Simpsons do Harper's Bazaar
Everyone loves The Simpson including Harper's Bazaar. In the August 2007 issue they have an amazingly funny spread of everyone's favorite dysfunctional, animated family in Paris, France with another highly dysfunctional person, Linda Evangelista (though she is a great model). My favorite picture by far is the one with Homer, Marge, Linda, and Karl Lagerfeld. No words can explain how cute Karl looks, I totally wish he were my ultra-fashionable uncle or something. Though the spread is terrifically funny I'm not sure if its a breathe of fresh air to know Harper's doesn't take its self too seriously, or if I feel completely slighted by a partially childish and fairly mocking spread.
