Today was the warmest day of the year (so far). We didn't have any grand plans so we spent the afternoon eating a picnic lunch in the backyard. Molly enjoyed the outdoors, spellbound by all the sights and sounds she doesn't experience indoors.We had fried chicken and french fries. Yes we went to the Pagan Picnic.  No we did not have a good time.  We stayed for about 2 hours and threw in the towel. I can attribute it mainly to 3 things: it was a bit disorganized, ex. no announcement when classes began, etc. noone in their group seemed to be milling around making contact with unfamiliar faces the website made their offerings sound like more than what it was I felt awkward and out of place like attending a family reunion with a friend who abandons you right after you walk through the front door.  Now granted, I am not a social butterfly … I am painfully shy under most circumstances so it is not in me to walk up to strangers and just start a conversation.  So, I shoulder my own responcibility in this. Cet aprèm' on s'est fait un petit picnic avec mes amis, ca m'a fait le plus grand bien de prendre l'air et le soleil (grand cloporte que je suis devenue avec mon taff) et j'ai également pu être dans la voiture de mes rêves !! :love: Picnic au parc de St Cloud ce dimanche après-midi. Le soleil cognait et il faisait une chaleur étouffante. Ce n'est qu'à l'ombre des arbres qu'on pouvait apprécier ce bel été revenu (il était temps !). Ce qui est génial, c'est que ce parc est immmmmmense... et on peut avoir des coins sympa bien tranquille. Pour y aller, nous avons été dans la voiture d'un de nos amis : une vieille choupette décapotable des années 60. Le gros kiff pour moi, la voiture de mes rêves ! I think I remember going to this picnic last year when I was a baby and only 6 months old. Everybody was holding me, passing me around, and I couldn't walk or do anything. Well, I'm a big boy now and I was all over the place. What a difference a year makes!It was good to see so many of my family members again. Some of them I haven't seen since the picnic last year. There was plenty of food and fun to go around. I saw a water ballon fight, a "Super Soaker" fight, a football game, a game of horse shoes, people jumping rope, and lots of other stuff. The highlights for me were riding in my Cousin Shawn's red car (just like the one Cousin Miles has) and playing with my ball and bubble gun. We also had a birthday party for Cousin Brandon...he turned 4 years old! We sang the "Happy Birthday" song, he made a wish, and we all helped him eat his cake
