Destination Washington DC: Random Local Farmers Market (Photo Blog)
I came across a local farmers market during my last few hours in Washington DC. Actually, I had already checked out of the hotel and was dragging my suitcase around. But, once I saw this sign, I had to walk towards the arrow and check out this farmers market.I'm a big fan of farmers markets. You always find super fresh vegetables and totally delectable fruits of all sorts. You can't find anything

A Photo Blog for Your Enjoyment (Thank You Awesome Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi)
In lieu of tax returns, I decided to treat myself to a new toy. I had been scrimping and saving for months, to no avail, for a new digital camera, so I was quite thrilled to finally be able to buy the new Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, one of the newest and top-selling cameras in the digital SLR line. It is a more advanced "starter" camera.Although I've only had it for two days, I find it extremely easy to use, and quite awesome. It has a newly designed 10.1 MP Canon CMOS sensor plus a host of new features including a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, the exclusive EOS Integrated Cleaning System featuring a Self Cleaning Sensor and Canon's Picture Style technology, all in a lightweight, ergonomic body. The Digital Rebel XTi is proof positive that Canon continues to lead the way with their phenomenal

      I've come to realize...[Semi-Photo Blog]
that I don't have enough pictures up. That's to blame on the fact that I *still* haven't replaced my lost/stolen digital camera. It was attached to my wrist and I never went anywhere or did anything without it. I'll probably be replacing it with a Canon Powershot G9 this month. Is that a good camera? I dunno. I don't want an SLR because I wouldn't get full usage out of it [read: I wouldn't know what the hell I was doing] but I want one that takes really great pictures. What do you all use, and how do you like them?I'll share some photos, some recent and some not. Just because - people like visual stimulation. And I always use too many words - that's boring...The BellaAin't she a doll? Dude, that's rhetorical - I already know the answer.GoobieThose teeth are the result of her constant thumb

      A Photo Blog
OK readers… I’ve gone and done something some of you will consider wacky. What is this crazy thing you ask? Simply… I’ve created another blog. The reason I’ve gone and done this crazy thing is because I wanted to try something. I wanted to see if I could post a new photograph every day for a year, starting January 1, 2008. A sort of photographic record of a year in my life.  I thought, he… this will be interesting to do, fun to look back on, and it will force me to get into the habit of taking my camera everywhere I go.  In order to make it simple, keep it it’s own entity, I decided this little project needed a place of it’s own. Hence the creation of the new blog. Every day, for a year, I’ll be posting a new picture. I’ve actually started posting already, one yesterday and one today, just using photos I’ve already taken, stuff I really like. There won’t be much commentary, if any, just a photograph.

Green Tea Parfait - its got Muah Chee inside, soft mild green tea ice cream, and near the bottom you get bits of Kellogs Cornflakes too. This was really good. Even looking at it was great.Little hourglasses to make sure your food is properly cooked before you eat it.This boiling/steamboat thing is better than the one at Kushinbo. And yes, on another note, BJ Peanut Butter is thriving and updated.

Photo Blog Project: Last Day To Submit
For those of you who didn’t catch the last post on August 23rd, today is the last day to submit. Brian Auer over at Epic Edits has started another photography blog project entitled “Blown Away”. “The topic is overexposure and the subject is a photo of yours. I want you to post a photo that exhibits overexposure, or blown-out highlights. If you need further definition or examples, visit my recent post titled “Should You Expose For Shadows Or Highlights?“. The image can be overexposed by the camera (which is really the intent of this project), or through post-processing.” “Once I post the final list, you will all have the option of posting other participants’ thumbnail images and links. You can post the images (with credits), text links, or any other creative method of linking out — just as long as you give credit to the photographer. You can post the entire list, you can post your favorites, or you can post none. It’s up to you. You can al

      My Photo Blog
I've realised my blog has got steadily less about my life, as well as that's cool and I'm happy with that, I've decided to create a photo blog seperate from CiaranMoore.blogspot.com, it'll just have all the random pictures I take on a day-to-day basis.I can't really promise constant posting (because sometimes I'm just not out and have nothing to take photos of) but whenever I get good photos I'll definitely get them up there.MooreyPhoto.blogspot.com is loaded up with pics I've recently taken (some from Lanimers and some from my birthday) so you should definitely check it out. It's going to take over for most of the personal stuff I very occasionally have on CiaranMoore.blogspot.com.My empire is growing. Haha.

From JMG Galleries - “Favorite Photo and Background Story” Photo Blog Project
Jim Goldstein came up with a interesting photo blog project, … and I thought I would share it with you all. Feel free to add this post to your blog, … and share the imagery and writings with others. I enjoyed it! Jim writes: Since initiating the project on May 14th I’ve been introduced, and in some cases re-introduced, to some great photographers. The subject material, photographic styles and skill levels of those submitting may vary, but the one constant shared by all is a passion to capture and share the world as they see it. Reading the stories behind each photographer’s favorite image has not only been entertaining for me, but inspiring. It’s been a great experience to glimpse behind the scenes of each image and share a sliver of the charge of enthusiasm held by each photographer. To those that submitted thanks for taking the time to participate and share not just your photo, but a piece of your artistic soul. The results from the “Favorite Photo and Backgroun

Photo Blog Project: Submit Your Sites
Brian Auer over at Epic Edits Weblog has come up with a neat little project for us photo-bloggers to get the word out about our sites… “I propose we do a little blog project that will allow everyone to share their sites with the other readers. Nothing major – I just want to get a roundup of all your sites and post them here with a link and a description for all the other readers to see. Plus I’d like to add your sites to my arsenal of feeds that I digest every day.” After the you submit you site and the article is posted, Brian will email everyone the list in html in the hopes that we will publish it as well. This is NOT a requirement to be listed. However if everyone who submits republishes the list, we all benefit from the links and the visibility. Deadline is set for May 2nd. So go submit your sites… http://blog.epicedits.com/ Tags: photo blog, submit your site

Photo Blog: Hong Kong (Day One)
As promised, here are the photos of my HK trip. My girlfriends were sweet enough to join me there after my business meetings, and I extended my trip so that we can explore HK to our hearts' desire.Being the obssessed planner, I swept all available maps from the airport and hotel and laid them all out on the bed the evening my friends arrived. Armed with a pen and paper, I poured through the descriptions and locations of all the cool and exciting places I wanna go, or show my girls, and generated a 5-day itinerary in one night!Day One: Unexplored TerritoriesBeing the adventurous traveller, I suggested exploring the outskirts of HK - places where none of us have ever been before. Taking directions from the hotel, we hopped onto a bus that will take us to Aberdeen for dim sum.The classic HK double decker bus! You know what? I took so many photos that I really couldn't remember which day they belong to. So I am just going to put them up in 'parts' instead haha!Part 2 took us to some of the best sights, food and entertainment in Hong Kong. Let's the photos do the talking while I bring you all along with me on this virtual holiday.Let's start with some scenery along the roads, shall we?The long and winding roadsI simply love the mood and feel black and white photos convey.Tsim Sha Tsui - Nice area located on Kowloon where my hotel was. An amazing architectural wonder - Bank of China tower. You have to see it for yourself to be awed by the strips of blinding light that wraps itself across the entire building. We were transfixed.Thought this shot looks cool. A quaint electric bus stopping at a bus stop in the still of the night. My girlfriends posing in front of the Peak tram. Ok guys - these would be the last batch of my photos in HK, because the rest are just silly shots of everything and anything that caught my eye. :)I don't have many pics on scenery this time - sorry Richard! - but hope you like it still.Trip to Shenzhen (China) The adventurous spirit in us struck again! We took an express train from HK to Shenzen, one of the shopping havens at the outskirts of China. You can tell we are trying really hard to capture the location signage behind us. Before we went on our party spree, we had a yummy dinner and more photos at this Spanish resturant in SoHo. Michelle looking classic in a black and white photo. My attempt at taking a stylish catwalk-style photo.Hong Kong without colours somehow look quite exotic.Lan Kwai Fong - Hong Kong's most happening party strip! That's all folks! I will be back with some insightful topics - to share with you guys. Blog with you soon! :)
