Les claviers j’adore ça, comme on peut le voir souvent sur le blog et davantage c’est promis. The Fairfield lunch scene on and around the square is pretty good, but lacking in the sandwich department. I love a good sandwich and so Petit Paris’ new menu has been a welcome addition to my lunchtime routine. You can get them on artisan breads with Kettle chips (yum yum crunch crunch) - all that is missing is a lunch box. My favorites are the “Le Petit Paris” - swiss, hard boiled egg, tomato, lettuce, avocado, mayo and mustard. And the “Smoked Salmon” - smoked salmon, butter, swiss, lettuce and tomato. They are a little on the spendy side for a sandwich ($7), but they pretty much have no competition so I can’t complain (and go somewhere else). If you order the Smoked Salmon sandwich I suggest having them add capers (no smoked salmon should be served without capers).

Current proprietor and winemaker Frédéric Prain acquired the property in 1982. As well known, perhaps, for his collection of sports cars as for his wines, M. Prain came to wine late in life after a career as a civil engineer. His 13-hectare property consists of a single parcel that abuts the Premier Cru Côte de Lechet and spans into Petit Chablis. Two things distinguish Frédéric's wines from the norm in Chablis: late picking and late bottling. This sad news of the Cheshire Connecticut Home Invasion in where a doctor’s wife and two children were violently killed, the wife and two daughters of Dr. William Petit are Hayley, Michaela and Jennifer Hawke Petit, police have said that the suspects broke into their home in Cheshire, Connecticut at around 3am. The family were held hostage in the early hours of the night and the suspects were reported to have forced one of the victims to withdraw money from a bank, which is when authorities say that the situation came to a sad dramatic and deadly conclusion.
