Here's the team for Australia vs South Africa in Perth on Saturday.
Lock combo of Horwill and Sharpe is still on as Vickerman's ankle's not a 100%, thereby delaying the big choice for the selectors. Palu and Tuqiri return from injury in time for this big game and Smith regains the starting spot over Waugh.

just wondering if anyone has been to Western Australia and Melbourne?( like, DUH )please please share with me your super duper awesome trip because i'll be going both destinations with my girlfriends this coming June till mid July! (plane tickets have been booked! so it's confirmed!)by the way, if you're wondering how long the trip is going to take, it will be a 15-days trip, 6 days in Perth and 9 days in Melbourne.i'm coming for youtell me more but the pinnacle...or the wonderful weather? maybe how amazed you are the first time you positioned yourself on the surfboard and surfed with the waves..or even how the flies are never 10cm away from your face. tell me about the good and bad, places that i mustn't miss (especially places of interest, shopping, eating or clubbing!) or those which i
Perth was located for the safe inland position during colonial times, while the river provided an excellent means for transporting supplies from the coastal port to the fledgling colony. Much of Perth was originally built using convict labour and this can still be seen today in some of Perth's remaining historic buildings. These days however, the river and surrounding area provides a scenic outlook for the city of Perth as well as a place for recreational activities. The Perth City Centre also offers tourists a wealth of great shopping opportunities. Whether it is souvenirs, Aboriginal Art and crafts, fashion, swimming and beach wear, jewellery, cameras and high tech items, the vast array of shops available offer an extensive range of choices, from shopping malls and depart
Is it curiosity, a question of identity or an innate existential desire to wonder what it would be like to be someone else? What if you gave up your job, friends, hobbies, and home to a stranger and left town with only your wallet and a sense of wanderlust? One man in Perth is doing just that. After divorcing his wife a year ago, his home that was meant for two started to feel like an itchy wool that had to come off. He’s aching to throw it aside and start new so he’s selling his life on EBay, seriously. The winner is expected to bid roughly $500,000 for everything from his skydiving equipment, car, big screen TV to his job and introduction to his friends.Bidding takes place on June 22. Fremantle on Wednesday 5 March, 2008, will forever be a part of the history books thanks to Queen Elizabeth 2. The boat not the monarch, that is. As she left Victoria Quay at 7pm, she bade farewell to Australia for the last time ever before the 70 327 tonne liner heads to Dubai to become a floating hotel. The name of the QE2 has almost become synonymous with luxury travel in its 41 years of service and the thousands of people who turned up in Fremantle wanted to get a glimpse of it for a last time. It's also a special occasion for the crew and Captain Ian McNaught. "It is a very special cruise," he confirms, "it's tinged with a little bit of sadness. It is our farewell cruise, and it's a big celebration as well, though. We've got a lot to celebrate: 40 years of history, [and] many, many happ

After all the drama at sydney it was a famous test win for india in perth. Each and every player contributed for the test win at perth. After all the media hype the perth pitch was not as bouncy as it was thought by the media. Both of the comeback players irfan pathan and shewag performed tremendously.pathan being the comeback man earned the man of the match at perth.Australia lose their plot at the first innings but played well in the second innings.By deafeating australia stopped australia from getting a 17th test win
India recorded one of their most amazing Test triumphs overseas when they beat Australia by 72 runs in the thrilling third Test to snap the champion team's record 17-match winning streak on Saturday.Set 413 to win a world record 17th Test in succession, the Australians were dismissed for 340 to allow the spirited visitors to reduce the margin to 2-1 in the four match series with one full day to spare. Not many had given the Indians any hope at the WACA, regarded as the fastest pitch in the world, but Anil Kumble and his men came out firing on all cylinders to not only pull off a sensational victory but raise hopes of levelling the series. The Indians celebrated wildly and hugged each other after RP Singh castled last man Shaun Tait, bringing an end to a dramatic Test which saw fortune fluctu
Pakistani cricket greats on Saturday hailed the 'character' and 'courage' shown by the Indians, who upstaged Australia in the Perth Test to bounce back from their back-to-back defeats in Melbourne and Sydney.Congratulating Anil Kumble and his boys for the historic Test win over Australia, former captains Inzamam-ul-Haq, Javed Miandad, Intikhab Alam, Rashid Latif and Moin Khan said the Indian victory was good for world cricket as it would make other teams work harder against the Australians."It is a very creditable victory because they were beaten badly in the first two Tests. Beating Australia in Perth is a big achievement and the Indian team deserves all praise. The Australians were just not able to click from day one in this Test. The Indians put the pressure on them well," Inzamam said.
In a way, it all began at Sydney. Done in by atrocious umpiring, reeling from the three-Test ban handed out to Harbhajan Singh, Team India closed ranks.Perth - reputedly the world's fastest pitch - was supposed to be Australia's impregnable bastion, the battleground where India would be humiliated. Instead, the entire squad combined to script one of the most romantic tales in a sport replete with instances of the improbable - and posted one of India's finest victories ever. They say it's easier to steal gold from Fort Knox than to beat Australia in Perth. On Saturday, India not only stole a historic win under Aussie noses, but also rubbed them into the ground, beating the world champions by 72 runs in under four days at the WACA, the ‘home' of Australian cricket. This wasn't a mere sportin

Australia captured two quick wickets to put the brakes on India's strong start to the third Test at the WACA in Perth on Wednesday. Mitchell Johnson dismissed Virender Sehwag for 29 and Brett Lee removed Wasim Jaffer for 16 as Australia fought back to restrict India to 74 for two at lunch on the opening day. The tourists had made their best start to the series when Sehwag and Jaffer put on 57
The 'peace talks' between rival captains Ricky Ponting and Anil Kumble notwithstanding, Adam Gilchrist says the two teams will enter the Perth Test with fire in their bellies. The Australians are pushing for a record-breaking 17th straight win and the Indians, who are 0-2 down in the series, are desperate to make a comeback. "This game I'm sure will have a bit of build-up to it
Cricket has been through fire and brimstone in the aftermath of the second Test in Sydney, which was filled with controversy. Anil Kumble accused the Australians of not playing in the spirit of the game; the Australians said Harbhajan Singh racially abused Andrew Symonds; the Indians in turn charged Brag Hogg for using offensive language and somewhere in the midst of all that, the ICC removed Stev

Ohhh my GOD, I cannot breathe! When... Or rather... HOW did it happen?
Lately I've been just talking and not really hearing. Today, after the whole "scandal-to-be" drama, and I actually started hearing myself speak. *Horror* I actually sound like a wannabe ABC BIMBO!
That is sooo not Princessa!
This is the Princess, Princessa!
I never liked the idea of sounding, acting or anything like that, DUMB! Geez. I blame it on my "maid". She such a bad influence. The whole "Sabrina is actually nice" rumor already tarnished my reputation at work. Now this! Ahhh!
So not cool.
Anyway... The "scandal". *Ahem*

Perth usually gets tagged as the most isolated city in the world. If you’re visiting Perth, you’ll probably realize that it is a heck of a long way from anywhere as you take flight after flight to get there, but once you’re strolling around Kings Park or having a beer at the Brass Monkey it’ll seem like any other medium-sized city.
I was lucky enough to be born in Perth, although from the time I finished school I couldn’t wait to leave. After traipsing around the world for about six years, my German husband persuaded me to settle in Perth again, and it’s only now that I’ve realized what a great city it is. So let me take you on a whirlwind tour of the best that Perth has to offer.

Before I got this job, I rarely traveled out of the country. The only few places that I've ever traveled to were: Singapore and Thailand. A year after our marriage, DH & I signed up for a tour to Perth, Western Australia. Before we went, I got a lot of 'cold water' from people I know. The spontaneous reaction was like "Ergh! Why of all the places, you choose this boring place?" Some said, there is not much of entertainment, not much of night life, etc in Perth, and they said better to go to Sydney. Now I think back, perhaps these negative comments helped to lower my expectation, I ended up enjoyed the trip very much. After so many years, and after visiting so many places (holiday or business), nothing could beat that Perth trip. It is the best trip I had in memory. Perhaps that time DH & my relationship was at the peak - it felt so romantic with your lover, wherever you go! People thought we were on our honey moon trip, hahahah! We ended up with a lot of nice photos, and I made
Thursday late evening I dined at Duke of Perth, a popular Scottish restaurant in Chicago’s northside. Duke of Perth’s most popular feature is their staggering selection of Scottish Ales and Whiskeys. We were greeted by a friendly young blond girl and seated in the leafy outdoor back patio. Due to the light crowd our friendly and attentive waiter was able to chat with us about the neighborhood and nightlife. One thing I love about Chicago’s northside areas are the secluded courtyards and patios you find in the rear of many restaurants and bars.
Their food is standard scottish fare, but exotic for myself who’s never visited the region or sampled much of the food. One such item is the Scotch Egg Burger, a beef patty topped with fried egg and roasted pepper. On Wednesdays and Fridays you can enjoy unlimited fish and chips for $9.25. I had the salmon and cod cakes served with potatos and cucumber salad. Caleb had the grilled veggie sandwic
I like the city life in Perth. In the morning, you can experience the hectic life of working bees. You can try to stand in the middle of the streets and experience the busyness yourself.Perth is also famous for its Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF), held in Western Australia every summer, showcases some of the world's finest artists and performers. If you would like to be present for this grand event, you should book yourself a hotel on hotel guides that says Hotels in Perth as early as possible! After enjoying yourself at the Arts Festival, you should look for hotels in Adelaide and Melbourne accommodation as these are one of the most beautiful cities in Australia as well. The conclusion is that Australia is definitely worth your visit!
If you’re heading for Australia, you may as well stop off at a few cities whilst you’re there seeing as chances are, you’ll get a number of free stopovers with your ticket.
You’ll certainly be looking for Sydney accommodation. Let’s face it: nobody would think of going to Australia without seeing Sydney. There’s a lot more to the city than just the Opera House though. If you have a head for heights, you should book the walk up the harbour bridge which is the vantage point from which this particular photo was taken which gives you some idea of the view. Although it’s not necessary to stay right in the harbour, you’ll find that Darling Harbour is a great place to stay.
At the opposite end of the country you’ll find Perth. Perth hotels don’t have quite the focus that Sydney does and, for the most part, holidays based here look more towards the fantastic coastline rather than inward toward the city itself.
Right in the middle is A
PERTH might be the world's most remote city of its size but don't let that put you off, it's all part of the appeal. Washed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, the sunny city is heaven on earth for anyone who likes a laidback lifestyle. Get a taste of the produce from the local vineyards, sample the eclectic mix of food on offer and get back to nature with a day-trip to Rottnest, the car-free island which is the base for whale-watching excursions up and down the coast. The city skyline is dominated by glittering high-rise office blocks. To get a bird's-eye view of the surroundings, walk up to King's Park then take a ferry down the Swan river to the port town of Fremantle.

I could be enjoying the cooler weather in New Zealand but I have decided to spend it here in Perth, Western Australia. If there is anywhere that has warm nights and nice people it's here! The weekend has been amazing, with catching up with friends and working it has been full on.Saturday night we got to see a fashion show which was well put together.Models showcased a number of labels which came from Crush. Crush is a new shop in Perth brining a mix of some the best apparel, footwear and accessories. It's like almost 40 degrees... it's killer weather!Picture up top is of Perth. The one above is taken from South Perth.
I have been in Perth today taking photos for my forthcoming guide to Perthshire. Perth is a lovely city situated on the banks of the River Tay. There is a lot of open space and parks, as well as beautiful Georgian architecture.
