As a relatively new comer to internet commerce, I have indeed learned a great deal about doing business online and internet marketing!
First, it’s not as easy as I perceived it would be. I thought it would be simple! Well, I have learned that without my mentor and trainer, I would not have had any [...]
It’s never entirely clear what’s going on in Attackazoids but New Jersey filmmaker, Brian Lonano, is on to something. I’ve never been one to gush about Ray Harryhausen or stop motion animation but I’m occasionally caught off guard when I see a low budget production put it to good use. One of the reasons I [...]

erseverance - it’s a pretty big word - that takes a lot of work. For a preemie baby it may be learning how to nurse, and a persevering mother to keep on trying. For a toddler, it’s learning how to walk and a five year old learning how to tie his shoes. As we get [...]
Think about the dreams that you wanted to, or still wish to accomplish in life. Most of the goals that people want to achieve deal with earning money, in some form or another, and from this, a lot of people have flocked to the Internet in hopes of starting a small business or blog, in order to generate an income. What most people fail to realize is that they will never achieve what they want to b

I was awarded a Perseverance Award from my brother in Christ Isaiah, owner of Joie de Vivre. My thanks to you for considering me and my humble blog! The award is to “… acknowledge those bloggers who have invested their very life in their blogs so as to encourage, build and warn others.” Many awards get passed from blogger to blogger, unfortunately all those who I would have considered granting this award to have already been awarded. So what I will do instead is acknowledge those who have demonstrated brotherly/sisterly love in communication, and respect when dialoguing about the Word of God with others. A subject that is typically tense and can be used to attack others, these people have stood out above and beyond the rest: BrotherMark at Grow and Know Isaiah at J

Everyone knows that perseverance is important. You’ve probably heard the quote “If at first
you don’t succeed, try again” or seen the commercial that talks about falling
down 7 times and standing up 8. The
lesson, of course, is that few people achieve anything great without first
overcoming a few obstacles.
Preaching about the importance of perseverance is easy. Actually experiencing failure and continuing
on undeterred; now that’s tough. But the
7 stories below prove that it can be done.
These famous entrepreneurs exemplified perseverance. Maybe one of them will inspire you to
overcome whatever obstacle is currently standing in your way.

Lord, last fall my father was laid off from his position of an Auto Service Manager as a result of the strugling automotive industry forcing the dealership to go out of business. After over a year of unemployment speckled with part-time jobs providing meager income, my father has just been offered the job opportunity [...]

Giving up is easy. Most people make a habit of giving up. In fact, they make a life of it.
Achievers approach problems and setbacks with an entirely different attitude. When adversity strikes, they look for work-arounds and adapt their procedures. As a result, they may find better ways of proceeding toward their dreams that they may have never discovered otherwise.
Instead of reasons to quit, winners see apparent road-blocks as opportunities to fine-tune their methods in order to continue re-inventing their approach to make it the best it can be in any given moment. Quitting is for losers. Persistence through a solution-oriented attitude is for visionaries, dreamers and other winners who refuse to take “no” for a final answer.

a heavy rain. The horses could hardly drag the load through the
deep mud, and at last came to a standstill when one of the wheels
sank to the hub in a rut.

Two weeks ago, we were worried and concerned over the outcome of our event scheduled on 24 July. Looking back, we have been granted the strength, hope and faith that took us through. Here is one of my favourite Bible verses that has taken me through all these years of challenges, difficulties and trials. May it bless your heart today…
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary; and They shall walk, and not faint.” [Isaiah 40:31]
How far are you prepared to go to live your dreams?
Are you prepared to battle through the rough times?Absolutely NO great artist, scientist, sports champion or the like ever succeeded without perseverance.Look back through history – Einstein, Picasso, Da Vinci - anyone who ever became renowned did so because they worked hard and with amazing diligence to achieve their success. An anonymous sage
I have taken the car to work only twice or so since the day I realized that global warming is on the brink of becoming devastatingly abrupt and escalating. The fairly long distance (10 km), the biting cold, the rain, the snow, the strong head winds, the heat etc has been somewhat challenging but not too discouraging. The real challenge has been to remain sane when seeing all the fat asses driving by. How should I handle this frustration that I experience daily? I have a hard time blocking it out. Why are so few converging to a climate friendly behavior? Will the recent torrential rainfalls and heat waves uproot people from their carbon massive lifestyles? If not, what will it take?I hope the Toyota Prius Plugin will hit the market shortly...
“Great works are performed, not by strength, but perseverance: yonder palace was raised by single stones, yet you see its height and spaciousness. He that shall walk with vigour three hours a day will pass in seven years a space equal to the circumference of the globe.”

God is adequate as our keeper. "Nothing...can separate us from the love of God," because the love of God holds us fast. Christians "are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation" (1 Pet 1:5), and the power of God keeps them believing as well as keeping them safe through believing. Your faith will not fail while God sustains it; you are not strong enough to fall away while God is resolved to hold you. (Knowing God, p. 275)The thought of this incomprehensible fact gives me strength to persevere through spiritual and also physical struggles (i.e., this past week's sinus attack, cold, congestion, throbbing headache, sneezing, coughing, sore throat experience, dust storms, exegetical papers, and language exams). One of the great mysteries of Christianity, is that if you are a believer through faith in Christ, God is resolved to hold you.
