If any of my events included a show, performers have always had the power to say whether or not they wanted to be included on a video. This wasn't just a friendly "Oh yeah, put me on the video" in passing, but a written statement saying either yes or no. The photos used were just found through Google search and our developer probably did not notice the copyright embedded in the images if they really had. The thing is, our developer cannot trace the source of the photo anymore. So we are not so sure if they truly came from photo.net.ph or from elsewhere.
The owner of the said digital photos claimed that the IloiloPhilippines.org administrators just ignored the complain so he did post several messages in the blogs and forums sections of the site in which some of them were posted in wrong places so the webmasters chose to delete them. It is not true.

Let's say you buy in to having a flash report or "soft close" on your financial numbers within a day or two after month end for your company.
Then you have the challenge - getting your accounting department to buy into the idea.
What accounting will fear is having a significant gap between the soft close and the final numbers.
Creating estimates goes against their normal mentality. They take pride in getting the numbers right. Precision rules. Estimates can feel fuzzy. Judgment calls have to be made. This brings in ambiguity they might not be able to tolerate.
The key is to lower the stress level and give them permission to be off on the estimates. Let them know that you understand that these are estimates and not precise numbers. You don't expect them to nail these numbers right off the bat.
Tell them you are looking for numbers in the ballpark, not precise numbers for the estimates.

Aloha all, Man was today a wicked day on the water. I was up for a bit today without looking outside and a while after 7 a friend of mine from down Milolii direction called and asked if it was blowing here yet. I told him no and he said it would be soon. I looked outside and noticed some whitecaps (rare down here) and within a half hour or so it was whitecaps everywhere on the ocean. We have a growing northwest swell, but what made it messy was a very strong southwest wind. Watching the news tonight, they had high wind gusts for the day. I think it hit 43 or so off Kona, 60 something at a spot on Maui and 73 (one mile below "hurricane" force) at a spot on Oahu. This morning a cruise ship was heading south past my place, and nearly an hour later, it'd only made it a few miles... that's a strong steady wind. The cowry shell above is a Tiger Cowry (Cypraea tigris). These are technically not the largest cowry here, but in general are the largest we see. I want one. I am not

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, facing a six-year sentence for illegally possessing firearms, Thursday got the Supreme Court's permission to go abroad for shooting his films, including "Blue".
A bench of Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan also asked Dutt to complete the shooting by Sep 30.
