      Yahoo Reports 64 Percent Drop in Profits
      Yahoo Inc. reported a 64 percent drop in profits as the company continues to struggle with declining advertising sales. Its third quarter earnings fell to $54.3 million or 4 cents a share from $151.3 million or 11 cents a share for the same quarter a year prior. Yahoo stated that they plan to cut 10 percent of their workforce or nearly 1500 positions.
