Visitors to Wolfsburg, Germany are in for a treat. The Lower Saxony city is home to Volkswagen, and in 2000 the auto giant built a veritable automotive theme park there to rival anything from California to the Persian Gulf. Called Autostadt (German for "car city"), the site attracts some two million visitors each year. The park holds several world records; serves as an accredited source of extra-c

About one year ago we tested the Pavillion Villiers Etoile three star category hotel. This hotel is the part of the Hotel de Paris hotel chain. The approach of this hotel from the famous Charles de Gaulle airport is very easy. You have to travel from the airport with the RER B train until Chatelet - Les Halles station. Here you can join to the RER A line and with this travel to the Charles de Gaul

A shoppaholic me, never been to Pavillion before??!!I must say that the place is pretty up class. Alot like KLCC. On the same day we went to Tony Roma's, one of the first shops we walked past was J CO. We got seated at Tony Roma's, then I told Sayang, eh, why don't i go line up and try tapau some JCO back.....The line was long, I had to wait 15 minutes before the guy came over and help me with my order. I took me another 10 minutes to line up to pay. Overall, we had to wait a total 20 odd minutes. I rememb
I remembered when I read the first flogger's post on an eatery at the Pavillion, hundreds or perhaps thousands have followed since. Upon reading them food reviews, I couldn't really motivate myself to make the trip down to KL, especially to that area, where traffic jams, are a norm.Sayang works Saturdays, and first halves of the Sunday is dedicated to church, and the later half is dedicated to bu

Anyone remember when I blogged about my new Asus eee? Oh how I loved it but I had to take it back. Here's a pic of my new HP Pavillion dv6000.I honestly don't know much about my new HP Pavillion because I just got it yesterday. I think this booger is supposed to have a webcam built in but I haven't tried to find out how it works yet.I really wish I had my lil Asus eee though. This is what happened; my husband and I went to the Best Buy store one weekend. I was shopping for a portable computer I could connect by using my cell phone as a modem.I know, that's old technology but it's cheap!Where I live my local telephone company is a co-operative, which means that we're the last to get any new technology, we don't have any attractive or affordable packages available, and I've been paying $20 a

I’ve done something that I regret terribly. I should have been there, but I couldn’t. I would if I could. How can I be so useless? I’m so sorry. On Sunday, the 13th of April, it happened. It happened and I wasn’t there. It became one of the biggest regrets of my life…I didn’t make it to the ‘KL Freeze in Unison Gathering’ @ KL.If you don’t know what this is, it’s basically “where human beings get together to do something in unison, without speeches or reference to their age, color, sex, beliefs and background.” In this case, we just freeze and stop moving for a certain time, in a public place and humiliate ourselves silly by being public art pieces for normal people to ‘admire’.Jason, KT, Josh, Katie and BT were really into this bizarre idea and were dragging me
One fine day, after a tiresome day at work, I got home and to my delight, I saw three boxes of JCO on the dining table. After having heard so much about JCO being the original Indonesian Donut Chain. Big Apple being the copykat.Mom and dad, said the line was very long but they were determined to bring some donuts back home....If you can only see the resemblance in how they make it, the colors they provide, and the flavours. The only difference I can make out is the pastry, or the donut itself. I find Big Apple's pastry a little big more fluffier / and softer as compared to J CO's Donuts. So after you leave these donuts overnight, I think the J Co has better staying power than the Big Apple donuts. J CO's donuts has better staying power, and tastes close to its original form, after bei

We went to one of our local parks to celebrate halloween last weekend. I didn't realize how big the crowd was until we got there. I thought there was only going to be a handful of people but there were so many kids there and even some of the parents dressed up for the occasion. I wish I had taken a picture of a family dressed up as The Incredibles. My lens wasn't wide enough to capture all the people. The park had a huge open area filled with lots of children in their halloween costumes.Cemron and Ava loved being out in the open field and it was hard for me to keep up with them. I finally got Cameron to hold still for a minute to take this picture. He loved standing next to the corn stalk so much that he wouldn't move when it was someone else's turn to take a photo. His turtle shell:Here are the two little bugs. Ava was about the fly off the handle (pun intended). Actually she was just mad I was trying to take a picture of her. There was a costume contest and she won a ribbon for Hono
Another new shopping mall at Kuala Lumpur, seems these few years, more are more shopping mall is open.Decided to go there and have a look seens its very near to my office. Around 10-15 minutes walk will do.Here is the view opposite Wisma CoswayHere is another view of the main entrance at Jalan Bukit Bintang. It is huge ~Too huge to walk, I was on the ground floor, staring above. HAve a glance look on what I could or might go in. Ended up just walk way. It seems to be more high class then KLCC. Everything is just branded. It also have some life instrument performance at one corner. Same as per The Garden. The trend seems to be like this nowadays. To choose between The garden and the pavillion, I live the garden more. But the garden is much more smaller then pavilion. Pavilion is way too big
Hello Fellow BagAddicts,For those of you in Malaysia, the Pavillion Shopping Mall located opposite Star Hill opens today! A high-end Parkson opens there today, along with Furla. Uber-Luxe Hong Kong department store, Lane Crawford is said to open there soon too!
