Today I went to a bank to open a new checking account.  I closed one with a previous bank because I moved recently and was looking for a more convenient bank to use. I chose M&T Bank and it was a huge mistake.  According to them I lacked the proper identification needed to verify my identity according to the Patriot Act.  I presented a valid drivers license, a SUNY student ID with a photo (albeit expired 2/1/2007), my social security card, my voter registration card and possessed my current uncashed payroll check.  According to the suit who was summoned by the girl at the desk, I also needed to produce either a credit card (don’t use them) or a passport.  I did have a current PayPal debit card, but was told it didn’t count.  Ironically, I have a current student loan through their bank . . .that did not matter.  Perhaps I don’t need to pay off the loan, since their is no way to verify who I am, they can’t come after me

Jeep vient de mettre en ligne un nouveau site destiné à assurer la promotion de son Jeep Patriot. Plutôt bien foutu, le site plonge l'internaute dans un univers assez étrange en prenant la forme d'un film interactif. Le but étant de choisir l'enchainement des séquences dans le bon ordre. Rien à dire, le site est hyper bien foutu bien que l'intrigue soit assez inintéressante (NDL : enfin, je dis ça mais je ne dis rien).Une chose est sûre, une nouvelle fois, on se retrouve face à un site chronophage car je pense qu'il vous faudra du temps si vous vous voulez arriver à la fin de l'énigme. En effet, il n'y a pas moins de 44 séquences vidéos qui s'enchaînent et même si vous n'êtes pas obligé de toutes les regarder, ça fait quand même un max de possibilités.Serait-ce la fin des sites Kleenex ??? A Justice Department Audit showed that the FBI has underreported their use of the United States Patriot Act to make businesses give up information on customers in suspected terrorist cases.  One official said that the problems were caused by bad record management and also said that the FBI has been overwhelmed with the number of demands for information within the past two years.
