Paramore are one of the coolest bands around! Not only do they have a sexy young woman as their vocalist, but they are also a great live band, and their songs are famously catchy. They have gained a lot of fans, and Paramore’s wear merchandise is a ‘must have’ item for the modern rock fan. The band formed in 2004, and took their name from one of their former band members, liking the connection to the word “Paramour”. Hayley Williams was still only 15 when they first formed, but within a year they were signed to a music label and writing their first debut album, “All We Know Is Falling”, themed around the departure of bassist Jeremy Davis. I mean, ya, this is a good video in all, but I'm not really feeling this song. This is Paramore's 3rd single "That's What You Get" off the album ''R!ot''. Personally, I think their other singles "Crushcrushcrush" and "Misery Business" (two of my favorite alternative songs of all time) were much better. This song doesn't compare. But, I have to say, I could tell they did a good job on the video. Enjoy!

Tennessee four-piece Paramore have recently enjoyed a stint on the American Warped Tour. Bands often come off the Warped Tour and decide to blast their catchy, cringe-worthy cacophony across the Atlantic at our helpless little island in the sea. We put up with it, perhaps are unfortunate enough to catch one of their support slots at our local venue, whatever. Paramore, however, have somehow set themselves apart.
Taken from the band's second album, Riot!', their latest single, Crushcrushcrush', captures an energy and maturity surprising given their age. Vocalist Hayley Williams has yet to turn nineteen but lacks no professionalism whatsoever. Paramore are a rare demonstration of young talent that, almost by default, allows relation to their songs for people of a similar age.
The teenage syncopation that plays cheekily behind Hayley Williams' stunning vocal patterns is quietly complex and creates an explosive chorus which is perfectly complimented by a punchy drum sound.

Goddammit. These are always the hardest to write. Anyways, i admit it: I kinda sorta dig Paramore and their non threatening array of pop punk. The Franklin, Tennessee natives first made a splash in 2005 with All we Know is Falling. I first caught wind of them while reading a certain super biased magazine and decided to look them up. Their music ended up growing on me for the entire year (what can I say, their damn catchy) and I actually went out of my way to download the entire Riot! album before its release. Lead singer Hayley Williams is chock full of charisma and has a pretty sweet voice that hopefully won’t deteriorate with age and stress. Much like the R&B groups of the 90’s, fans of the band will more then likely remember her then anyone else. Even the female contingent, which I assume is most of their fan base. I’m just wondering when she’s going to figure out that she doesn’t need the group dynamic and she can so this by herself. Because let&r

Another of the bands we saw at Warped Tour and were pleasantly surprised by was Paramore. This Tennessee quartet is fronted by the young and incredibly talented Hayley Williams. Despite much of the media's focus on the talented 18 year old and her ever-changing hair color, Paramore is a band and not just her backing band. The first I heard of Paramore was their 2005 single "Pressure," which was a catchy song that intrigued me enough to find out that the band's singer shared the same name as my daughter (albeit spelled differently), but nothing more beyond that. Fast forward to the Warped Tour this past weekend where my wife and I were blown away by Paramore's performance. Let me explain. On their latest album Riot!, Paramore sounds a bit like a female fronted Fall Out Boy or Panic!
