Male grooming products is a hot market and one of the fastest growing in India especially in Organized Retail arena and a lot of companies are looking at it for growth and Marico has extended its Parachute brand into this arena. It has launched Parachute Advanced Aftershower which is a styling cream for men and I quite liked the ad which features Yuvraj Singh and Sreesanth. It makes use of personalities of both the celebs with Yuvraj acting cool and Sreesanth acting wild. It has also experimented with advergaming by creating a gully cricket game with Zapak. The game has Sreesanth bowling to Yuvraj and the objective of the game is to score as many sixes in 30 balls.Since it is a brand targeted at young males who usually enjoy gaming had they get the game right they could have developed good

"It's not very realistic to have landing gear like an aircraft does, so what we have to do is, our runway is special. Our runway becomes not only a runway but also becomes our landing gear. "The Pretty Things is a 1960s and 1970s rock and roll band from London. They pioneered a raw approach to rhythm and blues that influenced a number of key bands of the 1960s British invasion, particularly The Rolling Stones. The Pretty Things were preceded by Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys, which consisted of Dick Taylor, fellow Sidcup Art College student Keith Richards and
For centuries man has been fascinated with the thought of soaring through the air...of flying. Now that flight has been a reality for some time, it is time to look at the redneck side of flight, specifically, parachuting and hang gliding. Here are a few bloopers of rednecks who almost flew.

Parachute is getting bigger and better. This super brand from Marico has moved into the next level. The brand is running a new campaign for its variant Parachute Advansed. The campaign titled Gorgeous Hamesha is one of the best ads I have seen in recent timesWatch the TVC here : Gorgeous HameshaThe campaign is a classic example of Laddering . Laddering is deepening the meaning of a brand to tap into core brand values or other, more abstract considerations. For effective laddering, the target group should have a clear understanding of how the brand relates to alternatives in the same category ( Kevin Lane Keller). Here in this case Parachute has established itself as a hair oil brand, the time was ripe to move up from a basic positioning to some thing more deep. The brand is aiming to reach a higher ladder through its variant Advansed. In the new campaign Gorgeous Hamesha ( translated to Gorgeous Always) , the brand talks about its efficiency in strengthening the roots of the hair so tha
Nearly 2 years ago someone gave me the fascinating book Brave, Mad And Memorable by Rob Harley.5 months later, I found myself at the Family Television Network in Warkworth, where they showed me the edition of Extreme Close-Up that the same author - Rob Harley - had presented about Trevor Yaxley.A few months after that, Phil Guyan of the Christian Broadcasting Association gave me a CD, which was presented by - you guessed it - Mr Harley again.Without elongating this story too much, I ran into this man's work again and again, ultimately editing tapes of his sermons for broadcast on national radio, and adapting another of his books - The Power To Go The Distance - for the same purpose.I always assumed that one day I would meet the man himself, so when I came across a seminar that he was giving at Parachute this year, I took full advantage of the chance to shake his hand and say hello afterwards.Next, after part-attending two of Wayne Alcorn's seminars (and a bit of Phil Baker'
As many of you know, I started my career out as an investment banker at JPMorgan Chase. It was a valuable experience, one that has influenced me in ways that I continue to realize over time, but banking is a job that I am clearly not wired for. When I finally admitted this to myself (it was something that my coworkers and friends realized long before I did), it was still a difficult decision to leave JPMorgan and pursue my current mission: to change the way people give gifts.I spent quite some time today speaking to a friend that I love and respect. While I'm no psychologist, I know from experience that changing careers, or even jobs within a career, is a frightening thing. We have all complained about work at some point, but for some reason when it comes down to quitting, we have a hard time making the move. Perhaps it's a fear of the unknown, perhaps it's realizing that no matter how bad the current job is, it still has its good qualities. What I do know is that sometimes we

The 1st passenger says, "I'm Francois St. Juste, the best disc jockey in Jamaica and the FAME FM team need me, so I can't afford to die." He takes the 1st pack and jumps from the plane. The 2nd passenger, Portia Simpson-Miller says, "I am the wife of a corporate executive, current deputy leader on the People's National Party and a potential future Prime Minister, I must live!!" After celebrating her 26th birthday with all her famous friends some F-Listers and goats, Paris, Stavros and some of their closest friends drove to the desert outside Las Vegas and jumped out of a plane with strangers strapped to their backs. As far as we can tell, everyone landed safely. I bet it was hot.
