      Progressives are pansies
Everywhere Islamists have decided to live, there is hate and murder. Australia, Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa. Throw an islamist into the mix and you go from debating and arguing to murder. The only humorous thing about this is not only can they not get along with us infidels, they can't even get along with each other. While the West continues to talk as well as blame themselves for

      "Pink Pansies"
"Pink Pansies" 6X6Oil on Gessoed BoardAvailableContact to PurchaseJust now I was thinking this might be a "girl thing." Pink ruffles make me smile and think of my grand-daughter, Ella. My mother used to dress me up in ruffles and by the time I was in junior high I remember telling her to stop it already...I thought I was ready for the black cocktail dress with a slit and spaghetti straps by that

5"X7" Oil on panel If my only concern was to sell these paintings, I guess I should paint nothing but food. My food paintings are by far my most popular pictures. However, I am more interested in the Spring flowers right now. As we start to get more local produce in the markets, I will no doubt return to food. $35 + Shipping $8.00 Canada $9 US $10 Europe Use PayPal to purchase

      pansies, anyone?
The world is overcome not through destruction, but through reconciliation. Not ideals, nor programs, nor conscience, nor duty, nor responsibility, nor virtue, but only God's perfect love can encounter reality and overcome it. Nor is it some universal idea of love, but rather the love of God in Jesus Christ, a love genuinely lived, that does this. - Dietrich Bonhoeffer Meditations on the CrossMy administrator(trix?), Jenn, has left for her own denomination's Big Meeting. She will be gone for ten days. She has done a great job of getting everything in order before leaving. We have people filling in for her. That too is a great thing. It should go smoothly. In saying that, however, I may have tempted fate* just a bit. We'll see. At any rate, I am looking forward to focusing on some of the les

Stamps Are for Pansies; I Collect Debt
Predator Press [LOBO] Doctor Nyarlathotep will doubtlessly send me a bill for his unsuccessful attempt to get in my pants. Corporations are really sneaky in this sense; pant on or pants off, either way you're screwed. That's why you always hear in sexual harassment cases the phrase, "was fired for rebuffing the boss' sexual advances." "Advances," huh? Hm. Well good luck Doc. Get in line. I got so many bills, I don't even check the mail anymore. The postman just lobs my crap out of his jeep onto the huge pile in my front lawn, and once a year we hold a bonfire. The reality is I collect huge and vacuous debt, and the bigger the better. Entire economies rise and fall based on my glorious and vast counter-acquisitions, and the entire Nation depends on me to perpetuate

      Pansies
This little exercise to paint pansies was inspired by all of you other artists who show your flower paintings. This is unfinished but I am going no further now. I will look at it again in a couple of months to see if I should continue.

Daily Painting Still LIfe, "Pansies & Periwinkle"
"Pansies & Periwinkle"9X12Oil on Linen PanelSoldDetailThis is a little brown pot I picked up at a consignment store in Clovis while on the Christmas trip. It seemed just the right size for my pansies......and as you can see, it is! My studio has transoms all around the ceiling and, while they let in a wonderful amount of indirect light, on a bright sunny day I get some of the sky reflecting on shiny surfaces. You can see that here on the brown pot....Carolina blue sky.

      gazebo, pansies and geraniums
Been real busy of late....work around the house, in the garden, plein air painting...but always time for few sketches. I'm about 1/2 way through my new moleskine, so I bought another large and and I'm going to try out the small size. It was so cute I couldn't resist!! Ok...here are the details: the double spread of geraniums, the gazebo and pansies, are uniball vision pen w/yarka watercolors. These are semi-moist pan watercolors and if you don't water them down too much they don't bead up on the moleskine paper. The geraniums at dusk are ebony design pencil and aquamonolith colored pencils.
