It's been a long time coming, but the reconstruction of our baby's nursery is nearly complete. The walls are sheetrocked and primed. The floors are sanded, stained and in the process of being coated with hydrathane.In the interest of forming a healthier environment for our little one, we went with low toxic floor and wall coverings. Today we bought an oil paint kit, brushes, brush cleaner, and 5 boards to paint on. Soon we start painting classes! Spending the money on it makes us feel very very guilty, but he said do it! Sign up, order the supplies, and go for it. We got a kit on sale online, plus brushes that are the same brand as our watercolor ones so hopefully they’re nice.. they were low cost too which is good, but not the cheapest ones. Then we were brave today, this is why we ordered.. we went to the post office alone and then stopped at the gallery.
It is usually closed on Monday but he was on site, painting! Gave me details on teh class and stuff, so very exciting. I could show up this week if I want, if my supplies arrive. I have an update on the condition of Ben Wilson, the artist who painted my dog portrait. Mum spoke to him yesterday and he is still in a lot of pain nearly ten days after his arrest for painting on chewing gum. Ben visited the hospital and he learned that he has two broken ribs. Ben's paints are still in police custody - obviously a danger to the public!
