I’ve modified my pagecast on pageflakesto include all the RSS feeds of all the ME bloggers. This was my first simple (read non-time consuming) step to provide an aggregate of all our feeds and a place for all of you ME blogger newbies to go to keep track of everyone else’s posts. This is an online resource and can be read from anywhere you have an active internet connection.
I will be adding new ME Bloggers to the pagecast as I have time. I also intend on modifying musicednews.com to become an online aggregate RSS feed generator of all the ME blogger feeds into ONE single RSS feed that anyone can use on their sites or sidebars. If you haven’t checked out musicednews.com, it’s worth a look.
For those of you power-users, I will have an OPML file
After so long I was updating the SQABD Pagecast which was powered by Pageflakes. This time Pageflakes gave the option to have a PUBLIC URL. Customize the Theme by my own choice. Pageflakes became more matured day by day.. Somehow i got stuck in adding the Welcome Flake. For some reason it's not appearing after saving or publishing as Public. I need to re-check again.. By the way, I found a minor bug on Reloading any Flake. Here is the Video Screen Capture. Here is the SQABD Pagecast: http://www.pageflakes.com/sqabd
Pageflakes is the easy and fun way to customize the Internet, with just the news and information you want.
This super-customizable version of a home page enables you to pick the news and information feeds you want to read, and to specify the “flakes,” or applets, you want to include. Flakes let you add all sorts of cool stuff to your page, movie times, to-do lists, a notepad, e-mail, a horoscope, even sudoku or a personal blog.

Out of the many options for your homepage, Pageflakes is one of a few webtools, which allow you to put your RSS feeds, YouTube videos, search results, your personal to-do list and many other widgets on one page.Below is screenshot of my homepage on pageflakes. I must say that this tool is really useful and time saving.Recently, they have started a new service called Pagecasts, which they describe as “the intersection of personalized pages with social media”.Click here to go to Pageflakes.

I came across Pageflakes by accident, while browsing around the Shoemoney site. Pageflakes reminds me of the old Web 1.0 "portal" idea, but done in a revamped (and rather nicer looking) Web 2.0 way.
Do check it out , i think you'll like it:

In my recent quest to up the profile of my blog I have been adding my feed to various aggregators, directories and such. One site I came across is a pretty nice start page / portal called PageFlakes. In additon to having a nice portal home page tool they also have a good RSS reader and they allow you to make any 'flake' into a widget to embed in any other site. I submited my RSS feed to them to included into their pack of feeds and they accepted. I kind of wished I spent more time in my tags I suggested, as it doesn't look like I can modify now.
From their email:

I have become enamoured with netvibes and pageflakes. They are enabling me to check all of my email accounts (I have eight, I use constantly), and keep track of all the RSS feeds that are important to me in one place, using one interface."
