Well, hopefully this post will help you avoid the perils of padding, because there are ways to wear this trend of quilting and padding without looking like the Michelin Man's wife. In France and Italia there has for some time been a big following of really Puffa-style mid-to-full-length coats, usually in black and brown. Personally, I'm not such a fan.
