According to BBC News, OZZY OSBOURNE has accepted libel damages from the Daily Star over allegations he suffered a health scare which jeopardised the Brit Awards. Within seconds of the opening track of Ozzy Osbourne’s new album, Black Rain, ultra-thick distortion guitars pour from the speakers, and my first reaction is to put on some ripped jeans and start headbanging. Although the sound is very modern and heavy, with both spooky and pithy guitar and bass parts, there are still plenty of nostalgic glam-rock guitar squeals. This is what ‘80s rock would sound like if they had better distortion effects back then.
