Holy bacon!Yesterday MalaysiaKini reported that certain parties in Malaysia had rallied overwhelming support for our Malaysian pig farmers. What do you know; we have more good news for our cute Malaysian piggies. :-)I don’t have any problem with that really. Even though pigs are a big No-No for us Muslims, we do understand that bacons, hams and so forth are staple meats for our non-Muslim Malaysians. We can tolerate that in all honesty.Our only wish is that those involved in pig farming would do whatever they can to protect the environment. Effluents from pig farms must not contaminate rivers for an example. If those pig farmers can guarantee that their pig farming ventures would not harm our delicate Malaysian environment and they can provide some kind of an effective pig waste treatment mechanism (recommended link), everyone would be happy.
