Optical mouse shines continuously even when the PC is switched off
Motherboard Trouble shootSome motherboards like Asrocks enjoy great popularity amongst those who want to upgrade, but are willing to spend relatively less. However, after the modification, the optical mouse glows even when the PC is switched off. Solvater Tip: This happens with some other motherboards also. The cause of this strange occurrence is an uncommon jumper put on the main board, which is responsible for the powering of the USB buses. The provides the USB bus with the standby power (+5VSB) to enable the switching ‘ON’ of the computer via USB or PS2 devices. Connected devices were continuously supplied with electricity in this way. If you change the position of the jumper from its 2/3 original position to the ½ pins, everything functions as usual and in a stable way. Note

What's The Best Way To Clean Out An Optical Mouse?
What's The Best Way To Clean Out An Optical Mouse?Well, the best way I have found is to grab a drinking straw and lightly blow on it. If you have a small can of compressed air that would also work, just make sure it isn't too powerful. If you need to take apart the mouse the screws will usually be under the little pads, but that shouldn't be necessary.Just whatever you do, do not use any type of cloth that may scratch or leave lint behind as it can damage the mouse.

And, after all, painful RSI is a small price to pay for a desk cluttered with cute.
