Sweden's Opeth recently filmed a promotional video for an edit of the song "Porcelain Heart". The clip was directed by Lasse Hoile (Porcupine Tree) and shot in Vaxholm, Sweden at the marvellous Bogesund castle, built in the 1640s. The edit was done by Jens Bogren and Opeth mainman Mikael Akerfeldt.Commented Mikael: "I think the video came out great! The location and the castle was beyond gorgeous, even though it was cold and empty in there and... yeah, a little scary too. Lasse and his team as well as the actors did a great job! The clip is very gothic-looking which I think is the perfect imagery for the song and for Opeth overall, I suppose. I really enjoyed filming that one actually!"The cover was (as usual) designed by Travis Smith in co-operation with frontman/guitarist Mikael Akerfeld

Fue producido por Frederik Nordström en Fredman Studios. Al igual que su predecesor, My Arms, Your Hearse (1998), éste es un disco conceptual. Relata la historia de "The Moor" que luego de ser golpeado, quemado y expulsado de su comunidad, regresa 15 años después en busca de su amada Melinda.Es a menudo considerado el álbum más técnico de Opeth a nivel de guitarras, sobre todo debido a los complejos pasajes acústicos. Deliverance es el sexto album de estudio de Opeth. Fue editado el 12 de noviembre de 2002 y es considerado uno de los más pesados de la banda. Opeth es una banda de metal progresivo originaria de Suecia. Posee en sus canciones elementos del rock progresivo, jazz, sonidos acúsiticos, además de una clara base de death metal sobre todo en la forma de cantar de Mikael Åkerfeldt. Tomaron su nombre de un libro de Wilbur Smith dónde "Opet" significa "ciudad de la luna" y posteriormente le agregaron una "h" por motivos absolutamente estéticos.Damnation es es su séptimo album de estudio.
