Torna la Opel Corsa GSi in occasione del porte aperte di questo fine settimana, 27 e 28 Ottobre, in tutta Italia presso la rete Opel. A vent’anni esatti dalla presentazione della prima edizione della piccola sportiva della Casa tedesca, la quarta generazione Corsa si arricchisce di una versione che in questi anni ha espresso al meglio il concetto di automobile ad alte prestazioni dalla sportività non esibita.

Opel released a new set of photos of the new Opel Corsa GSi plus a more detailed press release. The Corsa GSi is powered by a less powerful version of 1.6 liter turbo engine which currently equip the Corsa OPC. SO, the GSi only has 150 hp (next to OPC’s 192 hp) and sprints from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 8,1 sec and reaches a top speed of 210 km/h (131 mph).

The Nürburgring Nordschleife, nicknamed the "Green Hell", met its match in the shape of a standard production Corsa OPC. After 20.8 challenging kilometers, the stopwatch showed eight minutes, 8m47.99 seconds – a new record for a supermini. Manuel Reuter set the officially confirmed circuit record during level four of Opel's popular motorsport initiative called "OPC Race Camp". The former Opel works driver and current head of the innovative racing driver talent search showed the candidates just what the 141 kW/192 hp top-of-the-line Corsa OPC is capable of. Que belezinha de carro! Já os mais afoitos diriam: “Eis aquele que se tornará o novo Astra brasileiro, vulgo Corsão”. Voltando ao Corsa GSi (o Opel), ele tem um motorzinho esperto, de 1,6 Litro com 150cv e faz de 0 a 100km/h em 8,1 segundos. Um pequeno foguete! E... em meus sonhos mais distantes, gostaria de vê-lo por aqui, como Chevrolet Corsa 2010? 2011?
L’Opel presenta la Corsa GSi che riprende la sportività dell’Opel OPC ingentilità però da linee più generose ed eleganti.
