Insight Analytical’s Friday post on Obama’s ongoing “Unity” campaign linked to an article written by Barry Grey for WSWS back in January 2008 (before the New Hampshire primary and in response to a conference on bipartisan unity). As IA notes, Grey’s article raises a critical issue. Titled “The U.S. Elections: In whose interest is the [...]
Those of us who use the web frequently often get clustered signing upfor various web services. But it's too difficult to manage all thosepasswords and IDs. As the expansion of the web increases, the securityis going harder. That's why the concept of OpenID came out. By usingopenid you can login to multiple sites using a single id and password.Yahoo has taken the first step to join the revolution. If you've anyahoo id then just point your browser to openid.yahoo.com, thensignin, pass the verification and you're on. Now, you can just typeyour openid as yahoo.com in any openid enabled site and then you canuse your yahoo id to login to that site. I think it's time to join thesimplicity.
The 17th International World Wide Web Conference will be held in Beijing (Apr 21-25). I got a chuckle out of the title for the conference - “One World, One Web”. Looks interesting, but what a horribly named theme. Web surfers inside Mainland China most certainly do not experience the Internet in the same way as [...]
What if the U.S. economic troubles, combined with a shortage of oil and Global Warming, lead to major world-wide problems? What if someone comes along claiming to have the solution to those problems? Would a One World Order make sense as a solution? I'll bet it could be argued that way...If all nations were working together in every area, there'd be no shortage of information, no guesswork involved. With cooperation on a global scale, we might be able to fix each nation's issues easily. But once all the problems are solved, does the "order" that has been imposed remain in place? Do any and all regulations that have been enacted stay active? Are more regulations put into effect? It's pretty scary to think about, what with all the doomsday scenarios connected with the One World Order i
When hearing about a One World Order, the idea is usually connected with bad things like the End of the World or the Rapture. What if there's a way we can achieve a single unified worldwide government, without any ill consequences whatsoever? If we're already going down that path, will the stories and our fears be the only reason for conflict to erupt? Will we destroy ourselves out of fear of being destroyed? So maybe it's a good thing... A One World Order...But what if that argument, that whole, "There's nothing to these End of the World threats, it's all fake, but the benefits to be had are real," is really part of the mindset that will soon sweep through humanity and pave the way for the rise of the AntiChrist?

It is a blog-wide giveaway event. The original idea behind this was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way. Last years' event had nearly 100 participants and many connections were made because of it......friendships that are still going strong.I was lucky enough to find this event while perusing the most fabulous Diane Clancy's Blog. She rocks, is a fabulous individual and artist, and is also a participant. She is offering the most delicious set of cards based on her magnificent artwork. You have until February 13 (at least at most blogs) to leave your name and join in each blog

”One World One Dream” fully reflects the essence and the universal values of the Olympic spirit — Unity, Friendship, Progress, Harmony, Participation and Dream. It expresses the common wishes of people all over the world, inspired by the Olympic ideals, to strive for a bright future of Mankind. In spite of the differences in colors, languages and races, we share the charm and joy of the Olympic Games, and together we seek for the ideal of Mankind for peace. We belong to the same world and we share the same aspirations and dreams.
”One World One Dream” is a profound manifestation of the core concepts of the Beijing Olympic Games. By: Kadence BuchananThe summer of 2006 is an incredible time for sports fans, especially for those who love soccer and basketball. Before the NBA finals' end the soccer World Cup will start in Germany and the summer will close with the FIBA World Championship, will be played in Japan from 19th August until 3rd September in five different cities. This competition is played every 4 years and determines the best basketball nation of the world. The FIBA World Championship may not have the prestige of the soccer World Cup or even the basketball tournament of the Olympic Games, but it is one of the few opportunities that basketball fans' have to watch most of the best players' of the world in the same competition. That's why FIBA (the International Basketball Federation) picked "One World, One Title" as the slogan of this Championship. The first World Championship has taken place in 1950 in Argentina and has since then been organized 14 times. Until 1989 professional players -so all of th

Well, it is probably not a new concern for everyone, but I am just now learning about it. It is new to me.

Well, this is one the landmarks of Web 2.0 and open source. Open ID is an amazing concept and it is catching on fast. OpenID has arisen from the open source community to solve the problems that could not be easily solved by other existing technologies. OpenID is a lightweight method of identifying individuals that uses the same technology framework that is used to identify websites. As such, OpenID is not owned by anyone, nor should it be. Today, anyone can choose to be an OpenID user or an OpenID Provider for free without having to register or be approved by any organization. OpenID by Simon Willison So why should you use OpenID? Here it goes. OpenID eliminates the need for multiple usernames across different websites, simplifying your online experience. You get to choose the OpenID Provider that best meets your needs and most importantly that you trust. Your OpenID can stay with you, no matter which Provider you move to. The OpenID technology is not proprie

Two things in this world will always perplex and amuse me–stickers and irony–and thankfully I get to talk about them both today. Well, Thursdays perplex me now too, seeing there’s no such thing as “Must See TV” on NBC anymore, but that’s besides the point.
Growing up, I never saw the big deal about stickers. But, there is always some sort of fascination with them that we all have. Such a fascination that we find ourselves getting so many of them for our cars, possessions, kids, family, friends, and anyone else and any other unsightly surface we decide to stick them on. I used to always save stickers till I found that one perfect place to stick it. And seeing I really don’t know that one perfect place to display one of these free ‘One World, One Flag’ stickers, I really don’t know if I need to request these to have another envelope come in the mail.
Oh, wait, I said there were two things that amuse me? Oh yeah, that&rsquo
Nelson Piquet, a Brazilian racing driver, who was Formula One world champion in 1981, 1983, and 1987 has loses his driving license. According to O Globo, Piquet's Brazilian driving license has been revoked after a series of speeding and parking offenses. Can you imagine an ex-F1 driver without a car? I can't. So, the 54-year old driver began a driving reeducation course. Funny, but Piquet is not a lone. His wife, Viviane, also joined her ex-champion husband in the class after having her license taken away for bad driving. The couple will have to attend mandatory classes over eight days and pass an exam before getting back their licenses. I don't think Piquet will have trouble with that.Photo courtesy of http://www.goodwood.co.ukThis post has been featured on BLOGVASION.COM

We've all experienced our share of pin the tail on the donkey, musical chairs and the ever favorite - bashing of the piñata. And while these childhood staples are fun and rather predictable in nature, today's parents are seeking ways to break the "typical" party mold and venture into the unexplored. A whole cottage industry has sprung up to meet such a need and hence the creation of the "themed" party.Â
Party themes can be found in all shapes and sizes, from my little princesses to NASCAR, Star Wars to the Flintstones. Although matching paper plates, cups and napkins are all "nice", the truly adventurous party planner will want to think outside the box and beyond pin the tail on the Chubaka. Which brings us to the topic of what to "do" at the party…what…to…do.
Fortunately, the subject of what to do at the party also addresses the burning question, "How Can a One World Rhythm party make my (birth) day?"Â One World Rhythm has worked with all kind
