My Hubby drove all the way from Thailand to Malaysia and we will be driving down all the way back again tomorrow. It's quite a long travel and a long drive and that explains my Hubby's back pain.My Hubby has been having constant back pain for quite sometime now.

iPhone 3G One Week Anniversary Interview

We posted this video before. However, knowing that Lil Wayne Carter just sold himself 1,005,545 albums in a week is making big players like Rihanna and Kanye cry in their martini. Good for you Lil Wayne. Rock it like a pimp because no one has made sales like that happen in years. I am just sick with envy. Oh and I still want a ride in your 18-wheeler limo. Reaching The Top of Page One In Google In As Little As One Week
When you have the right information, climbing to the top of Google in a very short period of time is entirely within your reach. I am living proof. Two weeks ago, I launched my new website, and now I have multiple listings on page one of the Google search results. An Empirical Truth Scientists make their way in the world relying upon empirical truths. For those who are unaware, an empirical truth can be defined as, "verifiable or provable by means of repeatable observation or experiment." In essence, if you can observe it once, then it is interesting. But, when you can repeat the experiment and achieve the same observations multiple times, then you have evidence of an empirical truth. >From my own observations, what I am about to tell you is an empirical truth, because I have observed it h

      One Week’s Food
I came across this photo essay on the time.com website a while back. It shows a picture of a family and the food they eat in a week, along with the price and a few of their favorite foods. You can find the link here. It’s well worth a look. A few things surprised me when I looked at this. I actually read through it a few times. Is this how much people typically spend on food? I’ll have to admit that for a very long time I never paid attention to the food bills. I just bought what I wanted at the grocery store, usually going without a list, and then paid at the end and never tracked what I spent. As Melissa and I chose to live fully aware of our spending, we started tracking our food bills very closely. On an average week, we live on about $75 worth of food. When the month is tight, we can pull that weekly total down to $50 (and have managed to get it down to less than $40 when we had to). Some families (granted, there is going to be some difference based on curr

      One Week Down
As the end of my first week of work was coming to a close, I finally got a working computer. Well, sort of. I still don't have access to the program I need to do part of my job. But close enough for government work, right? Seriously, my computer was hooked up at 4 o'clock this afternoon. That gave me enough time to go through most of my email for the week. Boy, do they send around a lot of pointless email at the government. My lack of computer contributed to my lack of real work today. Instead I spent the majority of my day stealing furniture for my office. It was kind of like that one red paper clip guy except I started with nothing and ended up with a decent table for my office. It is not easy getting furniture from the government. First you have to find what it is you want (a small table) and then get a junky computer table that is falling apart and is missing laminate and then talk people into trading the shitty table for a better table. Once you convince someone that

I’m glad I took the day off as I could add links (friends of CF posts and the map). By the way, I should mention that I only have time to update the site at night so don’t freak out if your link doesn’t go up immediately. Several of the newest episodes of CW Network’s programing will be free for limited time. The move is similar to FOX’s method of capturing audiences by giving away the first week free through iTunes. For one week, “Aliens in America,” “Life is Wild,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Girlfriends,” and “Supernatural” will be in the iTunes TV section for free. The rest of the seasons’ episodes will duplicate the normal iTunes store structure. Episodes will then be priced at $1.99 each. CW’s free week on iTunes comes after a similar two-week free trial from Fox. The network declined to disclose how many people took advantage of the free downloads. Source: DJ Newswires The move may be a sign for the future of television program and its available delivery means. By testing the response to free online TV shows, the broadcasters can better understand the future success of a show and possibly hook viewers early. The mo

Beer Blogging Friday: One Week to Gather a Menagerie
With the passing of Michael Jackson, Beer Blogging Friday founder Stan Hieronymus and I have decided to dedicate next week's event to Michael's memory. His influence on beer journalism and beer appreciation is a great gift that he gave to all. Here's to The Beer Hunter. Just a week to go before the next Beer Blogging Friday. The Brew Zoo is the topic selected for The Session #7. The basic rule is that either the brewery or the beer must have a real live creature in its name. We will also allow beers with prominent animal label art (think Geary's Ale from Maine and its Lobster) to be added to the Brew Zoo.Why pick a whimsical topic like this for such a serious event as Beer Blogging Friday? I know I'm out of the edge on this one, but perhaps I am just a little bit concerned about the impact of global warming on the temperature of my beer and the resulting endangered species status of some hard to find animal brews. Has anyone seen an Emu Bitter lately? How about a 12-Horse Ale? I h

Barenaked Ladies - One Week (1998)
Toronto, Canada's quirky popsters Barenaked Ladies were never ones to follow a trend. They were more interested in making someone laugh than being astute and serious. Most of all, a friendship consumed this band, and that bond cemented their place in alternative rock. Teenage friends Ed Robertson and Steven Page found themselves laughing at the innocent and childlike term "barenaked lady" while attending a Bob Dylan concert in 1988. Both Robertson and Page agreed that it would make a funny band name, and since the duo was already into rock music and playing guitar, the Barenaked Ladies were born. Joining them were bass man Jim Creeggan, his brother Andy on keyboards, and drummer Tyler Stewart, and the Barenaked Ladies began to blend their comic relief sensibilities inside an eclectic mix of jazz, folk, and rock. The famous self-titled Yellow Tape (1991) captured BNL's first independently recorded material. However, Canadians weren't too fond of the group's naïveté. They were bran

Since February, he’s been traveling around Canada working a job a week, meeting new people, learning new skills, and generally experiencing continual uncertainty. It’s like traveling…on steroids. And recently, he managed to drag me along for the ride. I’ve taken on the role of filmographer - shooting, editing, and producing weekly episodes based on his jobs. We’ve spent the last few weeks in Toronto and it’s already been a wild ride: working at a brewery, a tattoo parlour, and now the largest cancer research hospital in Canada. Episode #2 from New Tribe Tattoo Parlour was just published today. Have a watch, and if you like it, it would help both of us greatly if you spread the word. Any feedback is also appreciated!

Feature Length 'Four Eyed Monsters' Available for One Week on YouTube
In a move that could mark a change for the more interesting in internet film distribution, indie-cult fave Four Eyed Monsters is now on YouTube. My One Week Away From Blogging
I had to leave for an emergency business meeting late Monday morning which explains my inactivity these past several days. It seems like eternity for me as I was unable to access this blog and my emails. I did managed to post a few updates on my blogspot blogs via the internet cafe though. I [...]

So One Week Left in the Shopautodotca Seocontest
I currently rank #1 in Google DCs for shopautodotca seocontest with one week left! I know A LOT can happen in a week, but this is still a great accomplishment in itself.I rank #3 in MSN for shopautodotca seocontestI rank #4 in Yahoo! for shopautodotca seocontestI like them apples! My shopautodotca seocontest is doing great with only one week left in the shopautodotca seocontest. I hope that my shopautodotca seocontest can stay #1 in Google for one week. There are many sites looming beneath mine, EEEK! See I can't handle the pressure of #1. There is no place to move down and I feel like my site clings to the the little blue bar that says "WEB" and the number of results with tiny invisible website arms... like this:I think my approach to SEO needs some work perhaps... Apparently I think I can win the shopautodotca seocontest while playing around in Photoshop.Shopautodotca Seocontest Home

      One week later
I made it to horse camp. We were all intact. There were mosquitoes, bunk beds and silly little girls; I met some fun ladies aka the 'Moms' of said silly girls. I was proud that I made it through a rough night's sleep and really bad food. (Not what the doctor ordered.)But I am glad we went and I saw Lexi ride a horse for the first time. The weekend was busy, and I had a great time with family and friends. I ate too much, laughed too much and even drank a little booze. I felt pretty good.Enter Monday. It all caught up with me.I am beginning to understand that I am on a budget; my wages have been diced. When I borrow too much, the creditors start hounding me and one way or another, I will pay.I don't regret my fun weekend. It's just that Monday was rough. I bathed in Batherapy and wondering if I could go through the day, with green paste slabbed on me. Would the kindergarten class notice? The 'normal' zinging sensation in my feet have been punctuated with jolts, that make

One Week to Saskatchewan Bear Hunting
A week from tonight I will be sitting by the campfire thinking about a morning of fishing for pike and walleye in the morning, shooting some footage for the blog and trying to catch lunch so I can be filled up on my way out to the bear stand in the afternoon.I keep looking at the great pictures of the bears taken and dreaming of the big one. I got my new nocks from Burt Coyote and I am ready to go! I have Easton Full Metal Jacket arrows at 400 grains and Steel Force Broadheads being chased out of my Mathews Switchback at about 280fps or more! I am hitting patterned groups of 3 inches at 30 yards. Can you tell I am excited!!!!!!!!Huntinglife.com is a project I am taking on to create a resource to match outfitters and hunters together along with informative knowledge, hunting news, resources and great articles and pictures. Elk, Deer, Turkey, Bear, Antelope, Bison, Buffalo, Moose, Mule Deer, Whitetail, Hogs, fishing, Hunting and all kinds of fun stuff.

      One Week Left at Vero…
I told you there was big and exciting news afoot! Yes, in an announcement that I’m sure is a surprise to most of you, I have put in my notice at Restaurant Vero and am moving on to a new job at Rustico Restaurant and Bar in Alexandria. I actually told Joy I was leaving a few days before my trip to Turkey, but I figured there was no sense in telling you all news this big right before I went on vacation and made unable to answer any questions. So, much like when I told you all I was leaving Cafe Tirolo, I will try to explain this situation in a question-and-answer format. The pull of promise, the need for me to pioneer my own path. I guess I played too much Oregon Trail as a kid… Why are you leaving Vero? There are essentially two reasons to leave a job. One is where the job is so bad; it pushes you out the door. The other is that another opportunity opens up that is so attractive, it pulls you towards it. This is a case of the latter. This move has nothing to do

      One Week Countdown
This time next week the movers will have taken over my humble 1000 square foot house, and my life will officially be in "transit." I'm in the ambiguous place where it's too early to start packing, but too late to make many other arrangements. I've not sold my house yet, and my faith is really being tested in this process. How I'll make a mortgage payment in Dallas, and apartment rent in Lubbock is beyond me at this point.Last night was my last Wednesday Night service at the church here in Dallas, and my last Sunday is fast approaching. I've had such nice things said to me by parents and others here in Dallas. It's kind of sad that it's taken me leaving to hear about my impact in the lives of some of these families. I've been trying to cram in as many lunches and dinners as I can with friends before I leave Dallas, and my schedule is pretty tight at this point. Tonight is a rescheduled soccer game for the 'Cool Cats', my next to last game to coach, Friday I have a HOT d

Lolit Solis suspended by MTRCB for one week

      Four seasons in one week!
Wacky day on the weather front. Woke up to fog and mist, then it was cold and gloomy, it eventually brightened up, now we have glorious sun. Just waiting for the snow! Mrs Crewe blog gave me a shopping list today, so her three kids headed into town early doors. It wasn't long before the monsters spotted the bouncy castle (you could hardly miss it, could you?) and yours truly was fleeced of £4 (£2 each for 7 minutes, I ask you). Amazingly, as we wandered home, the sun decided to make an appearance. A quick spot of lunch and it was on to the basketball court off Moss Lane where there was an extra session of Street Sports, as provided by the parish and ward councillors. How those coaches and instructors put up with hundreds of kids each day baffles me. With no school to keep them occupied, it was obvious that many of them had energy to burn - and they did!

Entry #24 - 1000+ Sign Ups In One Week!
Last week, I was so worried about the number of referrals in my agloco network. It was just 128 referrals in my network a week ago. I had set up a goal of getting the figure 200 in my agloco network before April. I was so worried and get serious headache thinking about my slow progressing network. Am I going to reach my goal? This is what I was thinking about the whole week. Here is the figure last week. 24/3/071000+ Sign Ups in One Week? But surprisingly, I get more than 1k sign ups in just one week. I swear to god, I do not expect to get over 1000 referrals so soon. It is just unbelievable! No matter who is the person that get me so many referrals back for me, I would like to give him a big hug and thank him a million times! I do not know how this happen, but you have to believe it. It just happen in front of my eyes. I took the print screen of my current referral network in case you do not believe it. Yes, it is 1000++ sign ups in less than one week. I am way too excited right now. I

      Famous Twice in One Week!
Well, I woke up on my birthday (5 days ago) and found an article about me in the newspaper! Not a bad way to start out the day. Here is the full story, about our 20th anniversary and our big move to First Street in the Kane County Chronicle....Here's another article about us (though we aren't actually mentioned) on the FRONT PAGE of today's paper. What a great picture of our little house biting the dust! We missed it by about half an hour or so. It went down very quickly--by the time we got there it was a pile of blue rubble. Check out the full story at the Kane County Chronicle website.

      One Week with Spotplex
I've been using Spotplex for just over a week now and, as promised, wanted to share some of my experiences so far.  Let me start by saying that right out of the gate I was exctied about Spotplex.  The service, which promises to rate blogs based on visits rather than votes, kind of turns the digg model on its ear. Rather than relying on a mob of voters (who can obviously be used to game the system) Spotplex promises reliance on page views and impressions.  In the long run this seems like a pretty solid idea - it's the basis for some of our older methods of page ranking afterall.  Don't mistake the fact that I like the idea with the current state of the service. Right out of the gate you can probably be sure that sites like TechCrunch will dominate the serive.  An hour of TechCrunch pageviews easily dwarf some sites entire week.  Of course Spotplex has promised to tweak their algorithm to handle this sort of thing but there's still plenty of room for problem.  Even if blogs ar

      One Week
It took exactly one week for me to get back to real life and realize how it sucks. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I arrived in São Paulo, where I lived the perfect life for almost 4 days. Well maybe the word perfect is too strong here. Let's say I lived a dream life for 4 days, I guess it's better this way. To make things worse my birthday is arriving. God, I hate my birthday! What are all those forced phone calls from false people we recieve on birthdays? I wish I could skip this day, you know? Or at least be unreachable from tomorrow till the 9th or 10th, this way I would also avoid some late calls. You can add this to all that feeling of wasted time. What have I done in the last 28 years? Pretty much nothing. And the sensation of already being old enough for not trying certain new things? Even worse... The Rio Film Festival started 2 weeks ago and I haven't watched as many films as I wanted. In fact I only watched 2, which is very few if you compare to previous years. Thi

I wish you all a pleasant weekend and I'll see you all again bright and early Monday morning.
