Scientists Re-Create Fully Functional Human Blood Vessels In Mice
Scientists have developed a promising method that could one day replace heart surgery with cell injections that would help reconstruct a damaged blood supply system and restore the normal oxygen flow to the heart.
The secret lies in an experimental implant of progenitor cells taken from human adult blood systems, which later
So, lots of us actually reading things online today are “the ones who did not go to BlogHer Con.”
The ones who are going will probably be busy travelling to San Fransisco and settling in for the start of the conference on the 18th.

How many of you made it to the Macy's One Day Sale on Saturday? This is something we never miss around here. I have had many people ask why bother because their prices are so high, but guess what, the sale is just that good. We scored over 22 items, everything from jeans, to dress pants for hubby and new school clothes for my niece and nephews. The retail value of all of these items was $623.97 bu

$1 Million in One Day?! After reading the title of this post, I bet your initial reaction - or the first word that might come out from you - may be "Ows?". Well, same here. Can one really make 1 million dollars in a single day? I saw a video clip in Gusher's blog about a guy who made a wooping "one million dollars" in a day!!! whoah!!! He must be very rich by now!!! Watch the
Every living being which has taken birth in this world will die one day. From the time of our birth, we all can die at any moment. Some will die in their childhood, some in adulthood and other in old age. In nutshell, we all have to die and we cannot run from this reality. Though, nobody can predict or plan his time of death because it is out of our control, still we can very well control and mana
Hey Dad,I would ask, how have you been...but that seems sort of fake and superficial, so I won't. Besides, Patty keeps me up to date on you (although I know you two don't talk more than a handful of times a year). It's Father's Day which I'm sure you know. And typically, daughters spend the day with their fathers, but that's something you and I haven't done for about 16 years now. Maybe longer. May
Dear Elaine,
I can’t help but notice that you’ve had an attitude problem for the past couple of weeks. Sure, it may just be the general malaise of working a full-time job, like everyone else. But being the self centered narcissist that I am, I tend to think it might be our friendship that has [...]

A series of misstatements and verbal gaffes hampered John McCain on the day that unofficially marked the beginning of his general election campaign against Barack Obama.First McCain claimed he supported "every" bill to rebuild New Orleans, despite bragging 5 weeks ago that he voted against the bills because they "waste taxpayers dollars."Then McCain admitted he was not aware of a bill Obama introd

I don't know about all you guys but with gas prices being at an all time high my pockets are being emptied fairly quickly. I love birthdays. My birthday countdown started on Tuesday, and I'm sure it surprised everyone who knows me in real life that I didn't mention it that day. I am the type of person that has birthday months. But I love everyone's birthdays, not just my own. Birthdays are a great reason to get together and have fun and open shiny presents. Not that I'm in it for the presents...okay, I totally am. I l
I'm a little on edge. It's been a ... difficult week here, but we have Internet and phone service, the electric is on, and we're not watching the forest burn around our home.
And in the midst of the phone company's departure, Chris texted me from work about the Texas appeals ruling. In the ruling, the judges wrote,

In a way you are lucky to get this post because I chose this destination in the last minute (just a day before I left Paris) also TGV train fare to Brussels was two times costlier than this destination travel price. Earlier I heard from my friends that Wine tour is something that is unique experience not to be missed. Sometimes when you change your plan you really have surprises in store for you.
Whenever I am sad, or glad, or mad, I think of how these feelings are all going to be gone once we meet God in heaven. But while we are here on earth, the place that I am at peace the most is when I am at church, worshipping God; or when I am in the car by myself singing praises at the top of my voice. Truly, better is one day in God's court than thousand elsewhere.Below is a YouTube video and
I was in search of visiting a village around Paris & I came across this medieval town called Provins (Actually people in France pronounce it as Provans), which is the far end at zone 6 in Paris. So, I started my journey early in the morning and I was eager to catch the train that leaves from Gare De Nord. But I was misguided to take train to Gretz Armainvilliers from Meganta station. So I took it,
Yesterday was the 68th anniversary of the first sale of women's nylons. I apologize for not mentioning this sooner. Still there is something to celebrate: the wide variety of stockings available today! A man came home from work early one day, and found his wife naked and panting on the bed. "Honey," she said, thinking quickly, "I think I'm having a heart attack!" While rushing to call the doctor, he nearly stumbled over his crying four year old, who told him there was a naked man in the closet. He ran to the closet, opened the door, and there was his best friend. "Damn it, Dave" he shouted, "Jill's having a heart attack and here you are scaring the hell out of the kids!"

There's a very cool Episcopal media website called "Episcopal Cafe". I subscribe to several RSS feeds from the Cafe, and they're frequently good food for good thought - and not just for those of us afflicted with affectionate interest in the latest gossip and goings-on within my particular institutional church tribe. The Cafe is cool. (A good friend of mine is an editor, BTW.)One of the major feeds on the Cafe is called The Lead. As you might guess, it's the main "news" feed. (I put "news" in quotes not to mock the term, but merely to emphasize that this particular feed is meant to be "newsy" news, whereas other feeds on the site might comment on news items but are more opinion-, spirituality-, and/or art-driven. Got it?) That said, the items in The Lead often come with quite a bit
I can manipulate the date on posts, so this was actually written tomorrow. Very many bloggers do that. This [...]
Solar power doesn't just have to be for them holier-than-thou green types, it can also be for the filthy rich—or for lovelorn poets. Art Center student Jiyeon Song made the One Day Poem Pavilion of boards with holes punched at different angles. Depending on the angle of the sun to the earth where the pavilion sits, different parts of the poem shine through. After about five hours, you will have the complete message. I just thought of something: This dot-matrix sundial technique could easily be used to make a solar "digital" clock, by showing times instead of stanzas. Calibration would be a bitch, but someone could do it. Phil Torrone, are you hearing me?? [Project Page via ]
I just realized that the “One Day At A Time” mentality could be used to accomplish far more than beating an addiction.
Well, really the first “new” application of the technique that occurred to me had to do with eating. Like someone might want to change their eating habits or pattern, but be so used [...]

I have just finished adding two of my web sites, this one and PBB Teen Edition Plus Insider, to TopBlogs.com.ph. I decided to go give it a try just for fun, to shame a blog that I've been hating for the longest time, because I saw that it was near the top position of the directory. I was originally planning on becoming number one, and with my current traffic levels, I was sure that I'd make it.But before logging off, I went to the TopBlogs.com.ph homepage, and voila! There were other, more high traffic web sites listed on the directory as well. I browsed through the listings and became satisfied at thinking that by tomorrow, I'd at least be in the the Top Ten, replacing GuitarTutee and possibly even Skirmisher.Right now, there's really no way to know for sure, but I can try. And I pray tha

My plan during the weekend is to visit two major attractions in Paris, one is Chateau de Versailles and another one is to visit Musée du Louvre. As a first move I chose to visit Chateau de Versailles on Saturday and Musée du Louvre on Sunday.Saturday Morning around 10 plus I managed to join the queue the ticket office at the Palace to get the ticket, As expected the queue for buying ticket was longer but luckily not so long compared to the situation an hour later. There was another queue again to get into the Palace with security checks and all. I collected the audio guide and started to explore the palace right from the assembly hall till King's private places.King Louis XIV had real passion for art I would say, the collections of huge art paintings hanging on the wall and appearing at

This is where the love relationship between Tasha and I began to bloom--One Day 2000 in Memphis, TN. One Day was the first gathering of its kind under the vision of Louie Giglio and his Passion Collegiate Conferences. On May 20, 2000, at least 40,000 college students gathered from all around the US with their tents, sleeping bags and Bibles, all for one purpose--to worship the living God of the universe. It was at this conference that Tasha and I realized just how much we had in common. That it wasn't just the music, but we realized that we both wanted to live lives completely sold-out to Jesus Christ. We both wanted to live our lives on purpose for the glory of God. To make our lives count for eternity. And that's exactly what we're trying to do. To raise kids who love Jesus. To
Have you ever noticed that when you are stressed out that's when you usually end up having to deal with other people who are most likely just as stressed out as you and not able to grasp the most simple of things you are trying to tell them by phone ? That's how it was this morning to try to get Johnny in to see the orthopedic surgeon. They allowed him to come home overnight after knocking him out and trying what they could to fix his wrist. To get past the receptionist and make this appointment was pathetic. First she demanded to have his social security number which we refused to give her as we have never been asked for an SS number to make a Dr. appointment. Next she needed to have the insurance information of the car that hit him. We explained it was a hit and run situation and w

"One day Our Lady of La Salette will lead the world."-Holy Curé of Ars, St. Jean-Baptiste Marie Vianney "We judge that the Apparition of the Blessed Virgin to two cowherds, on the 19th of September, 1846, on a mountain of the chain of the Alps, situated in the parish of La Salette, in the arch-presbytery of Corps, bears within itself all the characteristics of truth, and the faithful have grounds for believing it indubitable and certain.""We believe that this fact acquires a new degree of certitude from the immense and spontaneous concourse of the faithful on the place of the Apparition, as well as from the multitude of prodigies which have been the consequence of the said event, a very great number of which it is impossible to call in doubt without violating the rules of human testimony.

I do a one day trip today, its actually a nice easy little Pittsburgh turn I picked up. A lot of flight attendants like 1 day trips, so they can be home with their families every night and in their own bed, but they usually are not worth a lot of time and you end up working more days a month just to get your hours in. I usually prefer to fly 2-3 day trips, but again one of the best parts of this job is the flexibility it affords to your schedule.

CURRENCY TRADING SUMMARYU.S. Dollar Trading (USD) rebounded sharply against the majors despite a sell-off in US equities. Reports of hedge funds actively trading commodities and currencies had an impact. Morgan Stanley posted earnings beating the street’s estimate by a sizeable margin, adding to the positive earnings releases from financial institutions thus far this week. The government relaxed capital requirements for the two largest Mortgage brokers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac thus making available US$200billion of financing for home loans. In U.S. share markets the NASDAQ fell by 58 points (-2.6%) whilst the Dow Jones fell by 293 points (-2.4%). Crude oil pulled back by US$4.94 a barrel to end at US$104.48. Una doccia in un caffè.
Risparmio tempo.

Site | MySpace
The man and his two friends each spent $11 on Lotto tickets last weekend in Christchurch while getting groceries at a supermarket.A Lotteries spokesperson, Karen Jones, says the man was still in shock when he picked up his winnings in Wellington on Tuesday. She says the backpacker said he felt a little guilty that he had won a prize that New Zealanders normally take part in.Ms Jones says the man had planned to pick fruit to support his holiday, but has ditched that idea and will travel around New Zealand in a little more style.
One day before freedom:I got back up in my bunk and pondered the many questions that plagued my mind. When I awoke to the jangle of keys in the door, I realized that I must have dozed off for a while. The guard said that there were some people there to see me. I followed him to the visiting room.As I turned to enter, I saw a beautiful young woman standing in front of me. In a split second, I realized that this radiant woman with the beautiful smile was Elizabeth. My blessed mother was standing by her side. An uncontrollable feeling welled up in my chest and I began to cry. In that very same visiting room years earlier I had last seen Elizabeth as a young girl. Now she was grown up. She looked so much like her mother. We stood for a moment, uncertain about what to do as we stared at each oth
Remember when Elle "spilled out her mouth" on Wednesday? Well, by Friday afternoon I caught whatever it was that she had.Mine started out a little differently. Around noon on Friday everything in my intestines turned to liquid and started shooting out of me at a high rate of speed. Attractive image, I know. This kept up at a rate of every 15-30 minutes or so. I was pretty amazed since I really hadn't had anything to eat or drink all day.Around eight o'clock I started throwing up. A lot. I would drink a sip of water and throw up several cups worth. It just wouldn't stop and I didn't know where it was all coming from.As a side note, here's how you know you married a good guy: You find youself sitting on the toilet ..... doing what people do on the toilet when they're sick and you're

It's official... The Phantom Menace is a really dull film. Actually, just because I say so doesn't make it officially dull. There have been way more qualified film critics before me who have declared it such. What brings this on? Well, I've been going through the Star Wars films with my 3 year old daughter over the last few weeks. She loves the original Star Wars with Luke, Leia and Han (back when Luke and Leia were in love in a romantic way, not a creepy uncle-dad/aunty-mom sort of way). She sat through Empire Strikes back and was entranced by Han being frozen. She even tolerated the boring set up of Return of the Jedi on Tattooine that seemed to last an eternity and ends with Boba Fett being done in by Han Solo in a piss-weak manner. Being accidentally knocked into a Sarlacc pit by
As a child, I was very clumsy, not at all athletic and very shy. I was so clumsy my best friend and I laughed about it while reminiscing right before I moved away from home at the age of eighteen. I was so shy, my best friend told me, that people thought I was stuck up. As we reminisced that night, we talked about a very special day at summer camp. I was raised Baptist and my girlfriend was raised Catholic. The differences in our two faiths, made no difference to us at all. We were Christian friends. It was the summer I was 13 and my girlfriend was 12. Together we went to an all girls, Christian summer camp for a week. Little did we know as we packed our bags in excitement of our trip, that one day that week our two faiths would join together and an event would take place that we would nev

As you can see every contractors are diligently continued with their tasks without a moment's respite. At the same time, I also walk around this big building.......The washroom. The parking auto pay machine.Parking at JICC is RM2.50 for the first hour!!And I found this KFC Fast Food Restaurant at the back of JICC equipped with free Wifi services and Maybank ATM machine. The PC Fair III which is going to start tomorrow will be the first biggest computer exhibition in JB. I noticed the booth setting up there almost 2 to 3 times more than previous event.I will update the event on this Saturday (15th December 2007).
Without my husband everything is much harder. It's not worth cooking. The dog is trouble more than reward. The kids are great and also harder. I find I don't have any time for just a thought. I am followed everywhere. The kids are clingy and wingey. I can only do what must be done. When will I order Christmas presents? The neighbor took out our garbage. I didn't even know. He didn't mention it. When people offer hugs it makes me cry. Part of me wants NYC again so much I ache. Part of me wants T back with me again no matter what happens. I just want to breathe him. I don't know how long I can go without breathing him. I'm a little down. What will we do with ourselves if NYC doesn't work because his wrists can't hold the trays? How are we going to cover the month, never mind get ahead? Of course we'll find a way, but it's unnerving.Thursday is our decision deadline.
The response to the 2007 Formula 1 Photobook has been much better than I expected. I will be doing the lucky draw for 1 lucky winner tomorrow so you have one more day to enter the competition. Everybody who ordered the book either through comments or email or in person and at the same time is a subscriber to F1Wolf by email will be in the hat.
I want to thank Shaun of The Biker Place and Keith of F1Fanatic for mentioning this book on their blogs !
Yesterday the campaign set a daily goal of reaching $1,250.000. At 11:30 PM Last night we crossed that mark in online contributions. So a big check mark for yesterday. As of this moment we have yet to hear what today's goal will be. I am sure we will know by noon and I will post that goal as soon as I get it.
Approximately 10,000 years ago, God created the Earth. In so doing, he concocted an elaborate back story that gave the impression of a 3.5 billion year progression of biological complexity that culminated in humans, et. al. None of this is up for debate; dissent is not tolerated at this website.
Although the writers of Lost couldn’t have scripted a more baffling and spectacular series of unlikely plotlines, such as the branching of the avian tree that separated the woodpecker from the blue-footed boobie, no subplot has captivated mankind more than the story of mankind.
You see, man evolved from monkeys (LOL! – but pretend like this is World of Warcraft and act like this all true; mythology is, like, kinda cool sometimes). In that monkey-to-man continuum was a seemingly endless series of tedious monkey men who weren’t half as hilarious as they should have been. Now, there used to be a gaping hole in the continuum until somebody dug up a skeleton that was dubbed “the missing lin
Steam your face
Steaming the face is the best way to thoroughly deep clean your pores. Steaming the face once a week for example is very important to loosen debris that may be embedded into the skin. When steaming the face you widen any clogged pores and soften the skin in order to cleanse [...]
