This is great proof on how record labels no longer believe in providing advance checks to stars without any ensurance of record sales. Translation - Omarion had star appeal but his deal was just not profitable for the label. I think this is the last of the trickery that artists pull in conning labels to give them hundreds of thousands of dollars based on sales that occurred over 5 years ago will no longer be happening. The Dreamgirls' soundtrack sold 104,000 copies and rocketed to the #3 on the album charts; Nas album lands at #4 on the charts with sales of 101, 000 units. Young Jeezy's "The Inspiration" took-over the #5 spot with sales of 92,000 units. The Now compilation sold 89,000 copies and falls to #6 on the charts.
