Turns out there's some been some actual news lately being broadcast by MSNBC. 90% of it has been on Countdown with Keith Olbermann.It's a nice find. Yesterday, I wrote about the Michael Vick dog fighting case. Moreover, I made three simple arguments: 1) Pit bulls are not inherently evil dogs; in fact, they are great family animals; 2) Dog fighting is disgusting and Michael Vick should be punished to the fullest extent of the law; and 3) I posed the general question of why blacks are asked to defend Michael Vick and the “subculture” of dog fighting. All three are legitimate points.Conversely to Vick’s situation, white people are never asked to defend the worst elements of their Culture; there is a clear double standard.
