Soekarno-Hatta International Airport announced it would be ready to be landed by A-380 superjumbo aircraft in October this year, following the completion of its third terminal this year. "Starting October this year, we will be ready to be landed by A-380 Super Jumbo and we have told the Airbus team about it in a recent meeting," Trisno Haryadi, spokesman of the state airport management company, PT Angkasa Pura II, said here on Monday. He said the construction of the third terminal has reached some 85 percent with the total investment of Rp250 billion from the company. We now have stats on the sales of existing condominiums in Florida for the month of October.  Sales of existing condominiums in Florida decreased last month, with a total of 2,819 condos sold statewide compared to 3,508 in October 2006 for a 20 percent decline, according to FAR. The statewide median sales price for condos last month was $192,400, down 8 percent from October’s 2006’s condo median price of $209,500. NAR reported the national median existing condo price was $221,700 in September 2007. Disruptions in the mortgage market and tightening credit continued to impact Florida’s housing sector in October. Statewide, sales of existing single-family homes totaled 9,165 last month while 12,846 homes sold in October 2006 for a decrease of 29 percent in the year-to-year comparison, according to the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR). Today, the U.S. Census Department released its monthly New Residential Home Sales Report for October that continued to confirm the hideous falloff in demand for new residential homes both nationally and in every region as well as again reporting significant downward revisions to July, August and September’s results.Additionally, today’s report appears to reflect, at least in part, the extent to which the summer “fire sale” activity has had on pricing with a 13.02% decline in the median home sales price.As with prior months, on a year-over-year basis new home sales are still declining significantly, with the national measure dropping a truly ugly 23.5% below the sales activity seen in October 2006.It’s important to keep in mind that these declines are coming on the back of the significant declines seen in 2006 further indicating the significance of the housing bust.The following charts show the extent of sales declines seen since 2006 as well as illustrating the further declin
