One of the great things I enjoy about Korea is how food is accessible from literally every street corner. Whether you're buying fruit, vegetables, dokbokgi (rice cakes in spicy sauce), barbeque, etc...whatever it may be, it will be found on the side of the road.
We've passed by this octopus ball truck a few times on the way home from work in the past. It's not always there so this time I decided to give them a try. I was starving so I did not hesitate to plunk down my 3000w ($3us) for nine octopus balls.

Was watching the news today when this news report on Dalmiya’s re-election as the chairman of the BCB came up. And amidst the usual dramatic coverage of the event, the reporter waxed eloquent about the ramification of this development not just on the cricket field but also in the political corridors of West Bengal before finally ending with one of those stupid audience polls - “Is Indian cricket being destroyed by politics?” No sooner did I hear the question than a couple of sentences immediately formed in my mind. “Anything gets destroyed when there is politics involved. When two impossible to categorize bands attach at the hip for a freeform collaboration, the results may be even more gloriously confounding than thought possible. Both The Octopus Project and Black Moth Super Rainbow make bright instrumental post-everything that adequately blends the organic and electronic into honestly forward-looking alien pop. The House Of Apples And Eyeballs finds both bands using its powers for the good of groove-driven post-pop, creating a statement that reigns in its ambition with an extremely admirable sense of cohesion. The best moments recall a Standards-era Tortoise that possesses the pep and bounce of the more electro-lounge era of Stereolab, but it's pretty plain from the outset that no apt comparison can do justice to what these bands set to tape. Ok, stupid post title, I'm just giving the search engines something to digest. I keep forgetting that I do have some short videos I can post... I'm running out of newer photos.The surf is quite up today. It'll probably be up again tomorrow and then will hopefully settle back down for a while, we've had a cold front hanging off to the northwest.Octopus are neat critters. Lots of DMs/dive guides will grab these guys 'til they're inked out and then hand them off the customers. I prefer to just lay low and sit back a few feet to see if they'll give a show. It's neat how they can change their textures and colors practically instantly. The video doesn't give it justice, but it does give you an idea of what they do. Good evening, Steve
