I was looking at a competitor's site for SEO services

There was discussion the other day between me and a friend of mine about what defines the saturated market online. I won’t go into details but my vision of saturation is simple; if you can’t get into top 10 on ALL search engines then the market is too saturated. When you read something like that the first question that comes to your mind is how to know if you can get into top 10 or not.
On of the first factors most of us will consider is certainly the number of results for a given search query. Some other factors include results with AllInTitle attribute, number of links Yahoo shows for top 10 results etc.
We all know what are the most saturated markets (pharmacy, poker, dating) but what about non profit keywords with a lot of results? What do I mean by that, well try typing in “a”

This could be one of the greatest films ever made, in my opinion. Ok, sure, the use of "terrorist" robbers and violence abound isn't necessarily cerebral in its appeal, but you must admit that for an actioner, "Die Hard" is superb.The nonchalant humor of John McClane in the face of violent opposition is brilliant. Hans Gruber is a villain you can identify with even as you identify with John McClane. The blonde henchman who comes back at the end, the elevator explosion, the opening of the vault -- all priceless!And the best part: Sgt. Al Powell at the end conquering his reluctancy to draw his pistol, in order to save his new best friend, John McClane. Ok, I know this sounds a little fishy, but currently I'm the number one blog in the world. Well, atleast according to Technorati. While checking my favorites today, I just noticed my blog is currently being ranked the number one blog and I even got a batch. I saved the screenshot just to show I'm not bluffing. And how Tech Bold became number one on Technorati, by not having any blog reactions.
How to write a successful blog
One of the biggest Bloggers mistake is to read to much others blog and then reformulate the same news with their own word. Of course blogging it’s all about your own point of view but when something have been said already, you can twist it the way you want it’s already old news. Just like in the news world once you got the scoop, the others can do whatever they want with the news; you said it first and attract more people because you have the scoop first.
This is the scoop theory that works for blog too.
The one who brings more scoops will have more dedicated readers or visitors.
This is why I do thing the content is more important then anything else (seo tags…).
You can have the best design the best anything but if you keep reformulate others theme and post, you won’t advanced.

Hard to believe I know, but Sci-fi movie Serenity has beaten Star Wars to the top spot as number one sci-fi movie according to an SFX magazine poll.
Serenity is an off-shoot of TV’s Firefly and both are the work of Buffy creator Joss Whedon.
Star Wars came in second in the poll, with Blade Runner taking fourth position followed by Planet of The Apes, The Matrix, Alien, Forbidden Planet, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Terminator, and Back to the Future coming in 10th.
David Bradley, SFX editor said it was a massive surprise to see Serenity beating Star Wars, and added, “The TV show may have been cancelled, yet the Serenity universe clearly struck a chord with fans, thanks to its likeable characters, witty dialogue and amazing special effects.”

The Proclaimers have made it to number one again after 19 years of the original release of their hit song (I’m Gonna Be) 500 Miles. This time round the Scottish singers got together with Peter Kay and Matt Lucas to record a special charity version for Comic Relief.
The song starts with Brian Potter and Andy Pipkin coming on stage in their wheel chairs and singing a slightly different version, and then halfway through the song the Proclaimers then come on and then adds more life into it.
The official Comic Relief song Walk this Way, yet another cover song from Sugababes and Girls Aloud have now dropped to number two. The song Walk This Way was never going to be as good as the Aerosmith and Run DMC version, but it was still for a good cause.
