Notting Hill: A flush and a bus
In Notting Hill today I was amused to see a bus shelter with its own toilet cubicle. Although of course some Underground stations (not enough) and most mainline rail stations have them, I've never seen a bus shelter with them before. One wonders if bus times are displayed inside the cubicle as well. It would be a good idea.

      Notting Hill (1999)
Every man's dream comes true for William Thacker, a successless Notting Hill bookstore owner, when Anna Scott, the world's most beautiful woman and best-liked actress, enters his shop. A little later, he still can't believe it himself, William runs into her again - this time spilling orange juice over her. Anna accepts his offer to change in his nearby apartment, and thanks him with a kiss, which seems to surprise her even more than him. Eventually, Anna and William get to know each other better over the months, but being together with the world's most wanted woman is not easy - neither around your closest friends, nor in front of the all-devouring press. Notting Hill Carnival - 2eme jour

Notting Hill Carnival - 1er jour

      Notting Hill Carnival
It’s that time of the year when Notting Hill comes alive with loud music, dancers, smell of food, colourful streets, tons of trash and over a million people. It’s time for the Notting Hill Carnival. For those of you that know the UK well or live here, you know exactly what to expect if you’ve been to London during this time of the year. For all others, it’s basically the second biggest carnival in the world after the one in Rio. It’s spread over 2 days with the kid dancers on Saturday and adult dancers on Sunday. This year 1.5 million people visited, so you can imagine how packed it is. As usual, there are incidents but this year, there was shooting. This idiot, took out a gun, shoot at random people, rolled in the floor like James Bond and ran away. Fortunately, there were no deaths and a few injuries. Luckily for me and my friends, we were there on Saturday, which overall was better in terms of being able to move around, access the stages and dance in the street. The craz
