Here is a very easy and quick chicken noodle soup recipe for those who are time poor but still want something that tastes good. It should take you around 10-15 mins to prepare and will serve approximately 5-7 people depending how much you each want.
Personally I prefer richer cooked from scratch chicken noodle soup recipes to this one, but this recipe as I said is a quick, hence we have to use precooked chicken and packaged or pre made chicken stock, still it tastes good though.
Ingredients:
2- 2/1/2 Cups of cooked chicken pieces.
1350ml (45 fl oz) of chicken stock ( broth)
2 Medium sized celery stalks
3 medium carrots
1 medium to large onion
Noodles - preferably choose a short smallish egg noodle shape enough to serve around 5-7 cups of soup
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
Instructions:
You’ll need precooked chicken to make this recipe fast, but you could cook your own from scratch, and for this chicken noodle soup recipe it really doesn’t matter how the chicken was cooked.
This can be made with a variety of ingredients, but the most interesting are probably pork (as here), beef, chicken, shrimp, meat balls, fish balls, shrimp balls, or "monkey balls" (a mixed meat ball - not actually made from monkey meat!), or one of the various Thai sausages, as well as vegetarian options (try marinating some tofu in dark sweet soy sauce for about 3 hours and then using that instead of the pork).- Colonel Ian F. The soup contains soft pork meatballs, kratiem jeow (slivers of fried garlic), green onions, and wunsen (cellophane noodles). Tim is at church with Isaiah & Malachi. I'm home. With the coughing. Today is the Christmas program. Isaiah & Malachi are in it… and Tim is playing trumpet. I'm really sad that I couldn't be there. As I mentioned briefly on Friday… Elijah has RSV - and the RSV caused pneumonia. The doctor called me himself to tell me. We talked about having Elijah admitted into the hospital for oxygen treatments. However, I felt like he was breathing ok… and that I had what I needed here to take care of him. (we have the nebulizer already because of Malachi's asthma) The doctor gave me the information I needed to be immediately admitted into the hospital if Elijah needed oxygen… and he even gave me his cell phone number so I could reach him anytime. Thankfully I haven't had to take him up on going to the hospital or calling him. Elijah is still wheezing and coughing… but nowhere near as bad - he is definitely improving. I haven't slept for three

Usually two things come to mind when anyone thinks of Chinese food. Rice and noodles. For today's entry, we're gonna talk about noodles. Noodles are cooked in a variety of ways in China, from stir fried, fried, boiled, to even being made an integral part of soups. Noodle soups are great and simple meals, especially on a cold winter's day.
