Yesterday my cell went down for some reasons and had to be formatted.I have Nokia 6600 with me. Am sure that almost everyone of you might had encountered simillar problems with your cell phones( Am talking bout GSM mobiles with MMC card).Well if you had..then i know you had to chizzle it up by spending some hefty amount to the service center.Well my point is that why to waste money on something that you can do for your self. Now you can do its formatting manually. “You can see ive managed to draw a basic map on the screen. The size of this map is limited by the ram, as the objects within have to change it cant be a rom map. There isnt enough RAM. Ive had to be very clever with ram byte handing to squeeze a large map into ram. Having static map layouts in rom isnt quite as bad.
Reaching the limits of the 12f675 now. Rom is at 94% and ram at 92% full. I have a scrolling level now. Rocks Fall, if your under them you die. When you go near the edge of the screen it scrolls on the next part of the level.”
Nokia has launched the first mobile phones to include alerts encouraging people to unplug the charger once the battery is full, a move that could save enough electricity to power 85,000 homes a year. Starting with the new Nokia 1200, Nokia 1208 and the Nokia 1650, the alerts will be rolled out across the Nokia product range.According to Nokia, approximately two-thirds of the energy used by a mobile phone is lost when it is unplugged after charging but the charger itself is left in a live socket. We want to reduce this waste and are working on reducing to an absolute minimum the amount of energy our chargers use. The new alerts also play an important role, encouraging people to help us in this goal by unplugging their chargers. The alerts are one of a series of environmental initiatives that mobile manufacturers, led by Nokia, agreed to take action on this year. Nokia is the first of these manufacturers to implement the alerts into its products.
Check out Nokia Sensor application. It's a sociable application for spontaneous, sociable people. With Nokia Sensor you can create your own personal pages - called a folio - on your phone. Then you can check out the folios of other Sensor users nearby, exchange messages, and share files.Nokia Sensor uses Bluetooth wireless technology, which means that it works within a 'circle' of up to 10 meters around your phone. When other Sensor phones come within this circle, your phone can 'sense' them and you can see their folios and send them messages. As soon as you step out of each other's circles, you are no longer able to communicate via Sensor.Because phones running the Sensor application communicate directly without going through an operator network service, communication is free of charge. However, if you send SMS or MMS messages to other Nokia Sensor users, regular operator fees apply.
