The heartthrob of millions of girls, Sonu Nigam, was forcibly kissed by one of his female fans, while performing in Mumbai. Sonu was performing live, when suddenly a girl from the audience jumped on to the stage and kissed the singer. However, Sonu appeared to be not really bothered by the incident. "I’m absolutely fine, I have no issues. He came, he saw, and he conquered...again! Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam ended a three-city tour of South Africa on a high with a capacity crowd clamouring for more at Gallagher Estate in Midrand.
Sonu performed here Sunday. He had played in Durban the previous night and in Cape Town a week earlier. This was his fourth visit to South Africa.
Playback singer Sonu Nigam has joined hands with radio station Big 92.7 FM for a contest titled 'Sing with Sonu' aimed at providing a platform to country's aspiring singers.
"This contest is an opportunity for the aspiring singers and we are proud to be presenting this platform. We are confident this will be extremely well received," Anand Chakravarthy, vice president marketing of Big 92.7 FM, said in a press statement here Thursday.
