When I first ordered the Vampire Tarot I was nervous that it would turn out to be just another novelty deck. I already owned the Fantastical Tarot, its sister deck, and loved working with it because of its colourful and vibrant interpretations of the tarot.I though it would be interesting to work with the two decks together. I wondered if because they were designed by the same artist, Nathalie Hertz, there would be a connection between them, a heightened energy when used together in spreads. I guess I've taken this flying thing about as far as I can without tucking into some more training. One of my goals for a long time has been to get my commercial ticket as a prelude to an instructor rating. Over the last year I have been mentally debating the relative merits of the various paths forward and finally decided to start on my commercial. Hopefully I'll be able to get it done over the spring and summer, but we'll see. If nothing else I'll have more flying to blog about.
