This is a great standard baby bathtub. It is moderately priced ($20) and comes with a sling for your newborn to lay in. My son grew out of the sling in about a month and then refused to enjoy the bath. I think it was just my son because I know other Moms who love this bath tub. It has grooves on the bottom to where you can set this on your kitchen sink. However it only works if you have the double sink. Routines are not for everyone, but they certainly make my day a little easier.  DS3 is now 3 weeks old and I am trying to encourage him into some sort of regular feeding pattern.  Following DS3's lead, he now feeds at approximately 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10.30pm, 2.30am.  I don't worry about when DS3 sleeps during the day, but try to make sure he does not sleep too long so that he is drowsy at night.  His longest sleep is after his 6pm feed. Obviously each child is different and whilst this routine is working for me it won't work for others.  Also, I am probably tempting fate by writing this down and he will now be up all night!  Like all new parents I have good days and bad days but I am trying to take it all in my stride.
